Wow, 80's week...ahhh the memories!
I have added some great ideas that Syber and others along the way have offered. They look like fun!
Yes, we will be celebrating St. Patricks day so there will not be a poll next week...Week 30 March 14-20 will be Irish Songs!!

How about another "artist special" theme for one of the upcoming weeks? There was Elvis last fall but there are other great artists worth a dedicated week like Elton John, Carpenters, Abba etc... right? :dancin:

I think someone suggested in SS to have A "SOCK HOP" theme too... that'd be cool.

Yup..... and "feature a friend" week was also suggested a while back. That too could be fun.

I want an "imitate an artist" Week:) Whether it be famous, or someone else on this site:) Impersonation week. Now, that would be amusing... well, unless that is what you do EVERY day?:) Ok, now I need to go to bed. Not like I ever contribute to theme week:) blah blah, hush gillian.

I was concerned with the 'feature a friend' week..I wouldn't want a song to be subbed without permission from the singer and how can we know if permission was given or not? That was why I hadn't added it yet....any thoughts?
I returned from out of town last night and was very suprised to see 'Old Time Country'....I was sure it was gonna be Blues! Looking forward to listening to the 'old great ones'!

NHOH... Is it Old Country or Kids tunes?

Well, it turns out, gilly is working on a 'kids song' and I bet she doesn't even know she's doing a 'theme' song for this week.
Um.. 'lounge lizard'... ok, I was thinking like.. Vegas, lounge-singer type songs...
??
I dunno.. was just trying to be creative!!
