Ok... in most places this doesn't matter, but in the SS it does annoy me when someone gets more than one 'free' account, just so they can double the number of submissions they can put online without paying.

It's not fair to the site, or to those of us who try to support it with paying memberships. Now, if a person has more than one PAID account, I can't see a problem... at least they're supporting the website.

What do you folks think?

my god i didn't know people could i am shocked...but i suppose its because of different email addresses and stuff that they get extra accounts.

yes... and money aside... how about the fact that we listen to that singer .. using different voices/identies....

With listening time very "dear" to many of us.. its really not cool... IMO ...

It's happening more than I thought it was in fact...

I know at least 3 folks doing this (and there are probably others as well). I also don't think it's 'cool' to have one paid and one free, although that's a little less obnoxious (cause at least you're helping support the site).

I mean heck, if it was ok, we would ALL be doing it, right? I think the one exception to the rule MIGHT be, if someone thinks folks are not being fair to them just because of who they are, and they 'temporarily' start a new account with one or two songs just to see if they get the same reactions (no, I haven't done this... !!! but it has been suggested for others), and that would only be ok if they deleted the second account within say... a week. Ya know?

I can also see if you want to move to a different username to temporarily have a couple usernames out their. Your old one and your new one.

But by the way... If you are all getting new identities,... can I get a new body or face or something? Please? I'd like a taller model than my current one OK?

Well.... let me clarify....

If someone is using one name.... and several sub with it that seems okay with me....

Or ... as you pointed out... if its to see if "personality" is a factor ... I can "sorta" understand... but only "short term"... although .. still its sneaky ...

What I am sorta wondering is ... if someone is using multiple screen names to try to be different people or voices. Not that I have a prob. with creativity or a "character" of sorts.... but ... again ... it goes back to "listening time".... for me. I wouldn't care.... but would like to know 'cause then I'd listen to one or the other.

And in any case... I suspect IP addresses could be tracked by ADMIN ... and if folks do that .... then they could be told they'd have to be paying members ~~ just by virtue of being able to upload more than one song a day.

Well, I guess I don't listen enough to know when people have multiple identities on the showcase, but I do know of one person who changed names... that doesn't bother me so much as long as they stop using the OTHER name.

I am a "free" membership person, but it's just me and this one account. I can barely keep up with THIS one, let alone having another. However, if I were paying for it, yeah, I would be really irritated that free members were setting up more than one account and subbing. I don't think that's fair.

I was in the process of joining, becoming a premium member so I could submit 60 songs, and I left my wallet accidently in the chatroom, and someone stole my credit cards.



I promise I'll join next week, honestly...Just let me keep the 8 different names a little while longer !
