@ "Don't Know" option....
Is it even possible to NOT know? OK, I suppose it would be if you're just a little kid.

I kind of have.. an odd combo.. because, I have cable.. BUT, if I go over 1 gb.. upload AND downloading, I get capped, down to transfers at about 3 kb/sec.... you can probably imagine how fast I go over 1 gb!... but, since we are moving, we are getting a better service, thank gawd!

SHUDDERS -- Mikey, you're making me re-live the past....
The past where you hear that little clicking sound, and then a dialing noise, and then LOUD, OBNOXIOUS HISSING for what seems like 5 years....
and then another click. GOODBYE!
I'd donate to your sad, dial-up misfortune... but instead I must donate to my new wardrobe fund. Sorry

Debachery...I had no choice but to choose "other"
There isnt a tab that says "Wireless"
Which is a bit faster than dsl.
So....I guess I am one of the "others"

Ah, yes... "other" I can see. But there's actually a "don't know" choice too, !

Tammy, your wireless has to hook up to something. The wireless portion is from your laptop/desktop to the wireless router. Where does the router get the connection from?
ps, Mikey I put a $0.01 in your pitty fund . Now if you can get each person in the US to donate a penny, you will end up with approx M$2.5. So now is a good time to start asking.

Hmm, I knew someone would catch that. My connection is wireless too... from the cable modem to my PCI card.

Like an idiot, I was paying 29.95 a month for AOL DSL. In addition to having to have their 23.95 per month basic membership package to have their DSL. So after taxes. and other funny fee's, It wasn't cheap.
Unbeknownst to me. a coplete feature telephone package I was paying for (total phone, unlimited LD; inter, and intrastate calling, caller ID) offering me the works, also would've given me DSL for only $4 additonal dollars per month.
I now have DSL as part of my phone package, and save ALOT that way.

We have digital cable service along with AOL... something like $40 for the cable and we pay $7.95 for AOL service... I use AOL mostly for warez and their mailbox size... 7 screen names- 1000 piece of mail per screen name max... 16MB per file attached per email max... mail is on their server for 30 days = VERY LARGE STORAGE or file transfer ability... my bandwidth ranges from 3MB to 4MB... - tig

Here is a good place to test your bandwidth speed... up in the right hand corner is a button called "Speed Test" click on it, then go to the personal FREE speed test... fill in your location when it asks... when I ran it a few minutes ago my speed was 3.1 MBps... - tig
remember to add the www.
