I know what you mean about Something Stupid... the harmonies on it sound flat! I recorded a version with Mikey a long time ago.. maybe I can dig it up! I loved Milo's and Tim's version! Even Jeanne mentioned the blasé harmonies. I like the Nicole Kidman version better... it's in a higher key... that version would have worked better for me, but I didn't have it back then. (Can't remember who the male singer was). I do like the song though... one of my favorite duets... just really difficult to sing. I was never happy with my part but Mikey does a GREAT Frank!!! 8)

Hmm.. flirting... teachers pets.. etc etc.

I was only the "teacher's pet" if the teacher was male. If the teacher was female, I spent a looooot of time in the principals office, or getting suspended, or having detention.

But, I got along well with male teachers... hmm.. i wonder why THAT is. Yes, high school was fun.. maybe THAT was why I was an honor student?

Lol, and luly, my mom was the same way:) She taught me to bat my eyes, and blow kisses, and hike up my skirt, etc. Handy advice. I am still very good at it.

Hmm, about the song you are talkign about... really? is it hard to do the harmonies? I can't hear it in my head, but, I remember thinking that jeanne and tim did pretty well on it.

The duet I did with micky.. is that considered having the two bits fairly close together? Hmm. i haven't a clue... but, that was a pretty easy one to do.

My daughter can sing in harmony with me... but, I don't think she knows what she is doing. she just does it.

When I was in grade 6, I was soooo bad, my teacher moved MY desk, up beside HIS. I actually faced the class, sitting in the wrong direction. It was horrible...but, I wasn't any better behaved. Lol, i was always one of the "bad" kids in school..... Lol, funny, i still am:)

Skylah is biting her nails now. It is driving me nuts. Any advice? Short of cutting off her fingers?

Gilly, the harmonies were very easy to sing, but to me, they just sounded wierd. Steve explained why in the above post. I kept listening to it over and over before sending it to Tim, 'cos I thought they just didn't sound right, but I guess it's just the way they're written. Or maybe I did do them wrong... :?

I love doing harmony...I'd rather do that than sing by myself.

Sheree, I liked Nicole Kidman's version a lot more than Nancy Sinatra's. Hope you can find yours & Mikey's....

I was never a teacher's pet.....

Sher, my partner was Ad from Holland, he has the backing by Nicole Kidman and Robbie Williams if you need it. Although he’s not around much anymore, I can email him and ask if you want it. That’s the version me and Ad were trying to do. I just couldn’t get the hang of it. I’d love to hear the one you’ve done with Mikey!

Gilly, I just can’t harmonize, period. I’m sure there are lotsa people that find it easy, but I’m not one of those. Steven could probably answer your question about the two bits being close together in your duet with Micky. I’m like your daughter, I don’t know what I’m doing, but I do it anyway, LOL.

So you were a male teacher’s pet, huh? Girl, looks like you were in trouble a lot! I woulda died if I ever got into any trouble. The most I ever did was skip a class once as a senior in high school to go to the beach.

Jeanne, I loved your duet with Tim. I thought you guys harmonized real well. Being teacher's pet wasn't always what it was cracked up to be, but it sure got me closer to the hotties, lol.

I just listened to Mikey, and Sheree doing something stupid. This harmony requires more concentration, and memorization than I thought. VERY tough song.

They do a nice job here
