Has anyone tried POP HIITS MONTHLY cdg's? I listen to a country cd and it was right on key. I haven't heard a pop or rock cd. They are a little pricey compared to ChartBuster's. I would mind paying a litte more for a better recreation of music.

For country Pop HIts and Chartbuster are compareable, for everything else Pop Hits are by far superior.

that's TOP Hits Monthly if they're on mp3+g.

Pop Hits Monthly so far is not getting on the bandwagon with computer or cavs versions.

Knightshow the ones are PHM. I will call them Monday about their special. Cause they seam to put out faster than ChartBuster and I have E1 through E5 and some songs are off really bad.

POP hits monthly don't have mp3g's out. TOP hits monthly does. THM isn't quite as full sounding as PHM but they do somehow seem to be able to release songs that others aren't allowed to.

I hope y'all don't think, I still think PHM are still mp3g.

I used to subscribe to PHM's rock, pop and country. Overall, excellent quality (though I think their duets graphics leave a lot to be desired - case in point, "Picture"). I decided to drop the subscr since I wasn't getting much return and the vocal versions, while maybe useful for singers practicing, didn't really do me any good. Have gone to selectively purchasing more of the CB and MM (which I think has improved considerably in the last year or so) for the "must-haves". Most of my purchases these days are in the country genre, though for the more classic rock needs, I usually end up getting SC.

Marty, I agree that the word-swipes are a bit confusing on the PHM CDG. Try the THM one. I think that one is much better.

I like PHM for Pop, and THM for Country. The rest of the music, I use mostly SC and PS/JT

What website are you looking at? Pop Hits Monthly website does not offer mp3 or mp3g, in any way. Top Hits Monthly website do offer mp3g.
If you are finding PHM offered in an mp3 format, you are not getting a legal download.

I agree with Jimmy. With PHM you can't go far wrong. At least I've been very statisfied with Pop and Rock discs, which are more familiar to me!

Of course SC Spotlight gives you more songs at a time but then again PHM offers the vocals which are alright and nice to have when practising!

sc offers their version of the star series, or power series... but that's usually 8 songs, rather than 9 like the THM and PHM series.

And as for the Pop Hits Monthly available on mp3g... please provide a link... 'cause us doubting thomas' would love to get THOSE legally as well.
