Hey everybody,
I just wanted to stop in and let you all know I'll be away for a few days. My father is very very ill, and possibly only has a few days left. He has end stage liver and kidney failure, which has been going on for years and all they can do for him now is keep him comfortable.
My family has been preparing for this eventuality for a while now, though you never can truly prepare for the moment they tell you it is inevitable. So I will be spending the next few days with my family, my mom, brother and grandma. I would ask for your prayers, of course. My dad is a faithful man, and I have no doubt he will open his eyes in heaven, probably right beside Connie's father  I would ask for prayers of comfort for my family.

I'm truly sorry for you m'man... I've been going through some upheavals as well, and one of them was around my father.
You be the best son you can, and go with my best wishes. And may God protect you both and make his passing easy.

Thanx for the prayers and thoughts. God answered our prayers and my dad went home today at 10:55am EST. Thanx so much for your thoughts everyone. I love you all!

Glad that your Dads back home.You know Jason I was at the edge of death at one time and then I felt Gods healing hand on me. I know now why I had a second time at life and that is to serve Him at this time.
I know for sure that we go on even after passing from this world. If we believe in the Father, the Son and the Holly Spirit and that Jesus is all in one. Then we enter a place of Peace, Love and Understanding a palce where there is no Pain and worries. My prayers are with you my freind. God Bles  s

I just want to thank everybody again for their wishes and prayers. It really means a lot to me. I love you guys all so much! Regardless of all the crap that goes on sometimes, this site has been a total blessing since the day I joined up.

truly sorry about your dad jason...i lost mine when i was 11....i wish i had matured into a man before he died...so i guess we should all be greatful for each minute we get with loved ones...no doubt he is in a special place waiting for you to sub "lady".......  hope that gave you a giggle....well hang in there bro....im sure we are in for an amazing dedication when you get back on your feet...er...voice...take care jason, god bless you and your family....and if your dad gets in trouble up there, my dad was an attorney, and in heaven their fees are reasonable...keep on keepin on bro.....

what an amazing bunch of people here, I'm sure you'd agree Jason.
I always have a hard time expressing myself when things like this happen, because fortunately, I've never lost anyone real close to me yet. I only hope that you have comfort in knowing he's no longer suffering. My condolances to you and your family.
