OK PHiLL -- we'll be expecting those PICs and those SONGS from ya if PUNK makes it next week!
I found a site that lists TONS of artists that fall under this category - I can post the info if that is what ends up to be selected.

phills list is definately the definitive punk list , but im sure we can venture into gray areas of punk/pop like the cars, missing persons, devo, blondie, the ramones (they got a lot of fun songs),talking heads, iggy pop, and some recent bands would be green day,sum41, blink 182, avril lavine (kindof), kelly osbourne,
punk is fun cause it doesnt require a lot of skilled abilities to sing...it is more of an aggressive form of singing with more passion than tone....
out of all those bands listed sex pistols, the clash and the ramones are credited with being the pioneers of this medium so there probably is an abundance of music to find for them....
to get into the mood , driving a safety pin through any unpierced part of your body is a good start....self mutilation is also popular but not recommended....british accents are helpful
good luck people !!! im gonna love this !!!

Ok, whoever voted for yodeling better be a subbin'!
I'll try to work in some time later this week to get in a sub, but since I only have one song that has any yodelin' I hope I don't stomp on anybody's toes if they already sub it!
