Another thing, Crystal. We're both got wicked tempers, but his is way worse than mine. And stubbornnnnn as a mule!! I know when to back off though and let him cool off. That's something I learned way early in our marriage. I know what buttons not to push now. He's sweet as sugar, though....treats me like I'm the only woman alive. Are you guys like this?

The serious part we share I try to get over by always scheduling something to look forward to. Like a trip, a festival, anywhere where we can enjoy ourselves and have fun. Girl, you NEED to go to karaoke!! Our world opened up when we started!! Does he sing? My hubby doesn't sing, but he enjoys the good time we have with all the friends we've made there.

he doesn't have much of a temper at all.... very seldom have I heard him actually yell or shout.... he gets mad and grumbles of course.... but actually Yell.... hardly ever..
whereas me.... I throw stuff across the room!! !!! (why am I laughing... that's so not funny! I'm gonna break somethin' one of these days)

as far as him treating me like I'm the only woman alive..... absolutely!! He buys me roses and the whole bit...... cooks me supper and brings it to work to eat with me... that kinda stuff. He's a doll!!

I DO need to go to karaoke.... I used to LIVE there, but I moved out of the city to a smaller town where I don't know anyone.... and I don't like really small karaoke bars.... too intimate. I like a big place where nobody's really listenin'! !
Tyson does sing, and he's good.... but he hates karaoke. Don't ask me why... I just don't get it. First of all he likes music like the Ramones and stuff, and that kinda karaoke music is hard to come by. Plus I think he's a bit shy (even if he doesn't admit it) Im trying to get him to record "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Greenday tho. He sings that song REALLY well. I have the backing for him and everything. We'll see if I can persuade him!

and Deb! i'd LOVE to come down there to go to karaoke with ya!!!! hmmm.... perhaps we should schedule a karaoke party is missouri (sp?) seems like a lot of talk about that place lately. How FUN would that be. *sigh* I always wish that were possible... there wouldn't be anything more fun then getting together with the SS Family!!

Hey girl, I'm here to talk! Haha, the throwing stuff I used to do when I was younger. Now I slam doors, !! Or just go for a very long walk. But I really don't have much to be angry about, so the temper tantrums are few and far in between.

You know, come to think of it, some of my best friends are Taurus. They are all very much like Paul. Does your hubby like gardening and nature? Paul loves to get his hands into the earth and plant things. I enjoy it too, but not as much as him. Taureans have very sweet dispositions and will give you the world. My hubby is always the first to lend a helping hand. And he's such a gentleman. Girl, aren't we the lucky ones to have such wonderful men!

I think you should have Tyson sub one! Maybe that would encourage him to next go to karaoke.

Yes Tyson would definately help out whenever needed. He always does. My sister need her garage shingled... she was gonna hire professionals, but Tyson piped up
"No, don't do that... I'll just call my friends over we'll do it for you"

and he goes out to help the poor old man that shovels the walks at our apartment... He makes me so proud when he does stuff like that.

but gardening?? my lord.... he'd laugh his (@$%&#!) off if I asked him if likes gardening!! he'd go

but he is an outdoorsie kinda guy... both of us LOVE camping. Its our favorite thing to do. No holiday better than a camping holiday.
But ya gotta do it right.... no stoves.... no fridges... no PHONES DAMMIT! ! just a fire and a cooler and a tent. (or tent trailer) There's something so homey, comforting and relaxing about building a fire and cooking over it...

makes sense, huh? More relaxing to do more WORK!! !!
