A "jiggle joint"??? ! I'll have to remember that one!
My question is, though: What in the world was he doing carrying around a suitcase with thousands of dollars? How ridiculous is that? Note to self: Upon winning the lottery, place money in the bank.

People seldom ponder the discipline needed to handle extreme wealth. Maturity, and and a clean-lifestyle is helpful too of course. It's a fast road to demise for the addicted person. Also a great way to alienate those close to you without even trying.

I remember their music. Wasn't aware of their situations, though. I think Luly was right about the Janet Jackson thing too!

Haha, Deb...you never heard that one? Yeah exactly, the man is a fool. Now, did the money cause his brains to dissolve or was he that stupid to begin with?

Bank isn't a smart place to put alot of cash Deb, I suppose a money market might be. Yet alot of cash, given low bank interest rates might lose you ALOT of accrued interest Money markets, I-bonds, etc. Think about those next time you win the lottery

Oh well, at least I heard he tithed some of it. Probably the only unselfish thing he did with it.

Luly. Probably not the smartest man to begin with. For all we know, the odds weren't far against him finally winning assuming his life-style was one of squandering loads of money gambling, buying lotto tickets. Yet of course in this case the squandering paid off (or did it longer term?) hehehe it's questionable of course

Personally, I'd think he was pretty stupid to begin with. Steven Kaplan wrote: Money markets, I-bonds, etc. Think about those next time you win the lottery
Um, I think I should first win the lottery ONCE. Perhaps I might have a better chance if I actually bought tickets.

Guys, it's been great chatting with both of you! My eyelids are getting droopy though. I had a very long day, beginning with a car accident this morning. This woman on a cellphone plunged into me then her daddy wanted to pay out of his pocket instead of going through insurance. I felt like asking him, "Do you see SUCKER written on my forehead??" Sheesh, people are really something. Anyways, no one hurt luckily. But, now I've gotta deal with getting my car fixed. So....I'm pretty tired right now.
Hope to chat with you again! This was interesting!! Good night

Hi Steven,
Being a Newie here I have yet to see what's going on in all these Forums, but I have arrived at your Birthday replies WOW, so many !!!
So its my turn to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and yes if you don't feel lke a Capricorn its because your RISING SIGN of Gemini is more important than you Sun Sign, Take me I'm a Taurus which rules the throat and covers singing, so that fits me, but my Rising Sign is Sagittarius the Traveller, which fits me fine, a UK guy married to a Finn living in Finland.
If you want to know more about Astrology as I see you do, visit my Astro Site with some more info about yourself. I can't post the web address on here so just click on my profile and go to my Song site from there you can get a link to my Astro Site.
Phill is going to add the Birthday symbol soon to all our profiles so we can see a lot more Birthday wishes coming up soon .
HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
Cheers,
Peter

Thank you Peter. I wonder if it's ever been determined given all the correct variables as to time, date, year of birth, a rough percentage of accuracy regarding astrological signs. The actual chart given my time of birth, and year, after taking the gemini factor into account did turn out to be pretty accurate

Hi Steven,
It all stared for me some years ago, when noticed many of these Astrology books were written by people with PHD and MA and a few other titles after their name. I thought if people with all these degree's were writing books about Astrology, it can't all be humbug !
Anyway after much study and gaining my Diploma (DMS.Astrol) and making Horoscopes and getting feedback from them, it turned out that Astrology does work ! My case rests.
Cheers,
Peter

Thanks, Deb. Let me tell you the rest of the story. The daddy's thinking my car's gonna cost like $500 to fix. I knew very well it would cost much more. I took it to get an estimate. Let's just say $500 just about covers the headlamp. When I later called him to tell him, he freaked out and said he wasn't gonna pay a penny. Sooooo, that's why I would never take someone's word on this kinda matter. Here's a pic of the damage.

Peter, I think astrology is very interesting. I find that the characteristics you read about each sign are always so fitting. How can that be? I am sooo a Capricorn...my hubby is soooo a Taurus. Everything I've read about our signs really describes us. It even says we're a perfectly compatibile couple according to the stars! I'd have to agree wholeheartedly on that one!
