<< Shrugs a LOT! And no pointing... even though I'm having a bad hair day!

I guess the air just needed to be cleared... as we all know, this has been a issue that gets a bit heated. I think when new people come here it's easy to get confused by it. Ardis thinks we are discussing the X-files and KKid is like Sorry for the confusion guys... didn't mean to do that. I think it is possible too... but if we start to say things like... "we are not alone" (and yes... I got the X-files connection)... it creates the illusion that there is some mysterious group.... and the other side of the coin is.. there is another mysterious group that hates them... maybe on some level that is true... but I think for the most part... most of us are just here on our own... no posse taggin' along.... no nooses waiting.... granted there are people who are friends yes... like anybody who comes here.... they will gravitate to someone they like and make friends.... But if we start to separate each group this way.... "us" and "them" it just creates hard feelings. When someone new arrives... they feel left out... or feel they need to pick a side. So what if we all just be "us" and no sides to pick.... just be yourself and everything will be just fine! It seems on the internet.. hard feelings are long lasting and sometimes its over silly things.... OK... I'm sick today and I'm getting' way to serious.... back to bed!

Don't worry ! i am easily confused....and i was making a stupid joke...guess it was a bad joke . I just crazy...

That's the most profound thing I've heard yet! And TOTALLY the way I feel too, Sher. And I'm not on Nyquil either!

Seriously, I've always said this, it'd be nice if we all understood we're here for different reasons, but that doesn't mean we should be divided. Just like a family, everyone should be treated with the same respect, yet knowing we have different tastes and opinions. It should really not be that difficult.


In celebration of Martin Luther King's b-day tomorrow, maybe we can all take time to reflect on his dream that we may all become united.

I am not saying we can't all be friends . I just feel we should be able to have different views on things and not have our views pushed and stomped on like they were flaming paper bags of....well you know where i am going with this.

Ardis, it'd be nice if we COULD all be friends....You reiterated what I just said...we should respect each other's views.

Ok now maybe I understand, I think....or maybe not.....what I do know is I am just plain me.....I came expectin' some form of critique...I was surprised at the lack of real critique....but on the other hand what starts out as positive critique often ends up as negative abuse.....anyhow I just want my music heard and to have fun with some interesting people....I apologize if I sometimes come off as sarcastic, but it's just my way....probably cause I am....

Sheree, you didn't start anything hun, I totally don't think that. And Luly, I love that idea too...I just don't know if it's going to happen. There's just so many feisty people here and so many different opinions and then throw in the thing where we can't see each other's faces or body languages, or hear slight voice intonations and meanings, and man there's all kinds of misconstrued this and that.

I DO want it to happen tho, Luly!! If anyone has any ideas for how to make it so, feel free to let 'em loose. I'm guessing it's just because there's so many different viewpoints about things here...and that leads to friction. That's why I try to take comfort in the people I feel similar to here. And even the ones I don't, I really start out liking, and I'm sure we all do, but what can any person do when they get blindsided...God I don't know.

The things people have been irritated at me about, I'm sure they have every reason to...but the stuff I did that irritated 'em, I truly needed to do and feel those things, even tho I realize at least one of the things was wrong now. Ya know what, I really think most of the probs stem cuz we can't see each other. I really do. It makes for so much misunderstandings and drama. I'm back to Square One.

Ardis you seem like fun...glad you're here!!

Have to add something...I have felt so, so alone here at times that it helps me to identify people that I think, think similarly to me, and tell 'em hey, glad you're here...like in this thread.

Tig, I think it boils down to wanting to try to understand the other person's viewpoint and agreeing to disagree. We're def not gonna always agree, if we did it would be a real boring world, wouldn't it? Just respecting each person's individuality and saying, "That person doesn't see things my way, but you know what, we're all sharing the same love of singing."

I know that if we could actually see each other, at least half the drama here would be non-existent. Although there is so much feeling behind our words, there are like everyone has said, gestures, body language, etc to really convey what we mean. I hope you don't feel alone now, cuz I have really come to like you and know that you're really a warm, loving person.

Yeah, she only lives a few hours away. Although i think the oreo love thing is universal....i could be wrong .
