upload songs?? To the Singer's Showcase?
Go to the singer's showcase and read the information there.
Your mp3 file will have to be below 3MB in size if your membership isn't a paid one. Check out the Technical Questions forum for specific advice if you're unable to figure out the showcase's requiirements.

Store the pictures on photobucket.com and then post the link here. If you use the img link it will show up directly in the post.

Thanks Crystal, and Morten. I'll just stick to the small portion of the studio I posted in my personal photo section. That site I was able to figure out

I couldn't pass this topic up I've always been a vivid dreamer plagued by really bizarre dreams. I have horrible dentist and teeth dreams, yet I also have a terrible fear of the dentist. So I take the loss of
my teeth dreams at face value (rimshot please). I have these dreams about twice a week. Almost as frequent are the dreams about seeing the back of my head, and my hairs practically all gone. Just suddenly.
The most uncomfortable dreams started right around the time I got into the performing arts, and I'm curious if these dreams are somewhat common among others who perform. When I was younger and playing violin and bass in the orchestra, I had these horrible dreams about being seated there, (or standing behind the bass) and suddenly realizing something was missing, my pants Spotlights were shining on the stage, and I was surrounded by other musicians, or objects, yet I felt trapped there literally exposed. Yet noone seemed to notice anything. These dreams became constant, and would sometimes take the form of sitting in the middle of a large class, or even finding myself in a bathroom with no walls
I'm wondering if others in the performing venues have ever experienced these recurring nightmares ? Dreams of being in public, and feeling exposed. The strangest part of these dreams which have been ongoing is that I ALWAYS wake up before anyone ever has a chance to notice.

Steven - dreaming of being naked (or semi-naked) in a public situation are some of the most common dreams shared by people - of every trade. So don't feel alone!! (The dental thing is also VERY common I have discovered).
Now, where's the pic of your recording setup? =D

Don, Is the lighting trestle something you designed with Ultimate Support systems parts ? I was thinking of building something over the BG piano, yet decided against that.
Syberchick, This is a portion of my studio area. I'll post a few of the Guitar items next. Yet I am a Guitar collector, and have loads more toys in this area
I've given more of a description of that pictured area in my personal photo area
PS: The drums I purchased for myself as a "mid-life" crises gift two years ago. I'm not a drummer. Never had the dexterity to play a trapset well. Yet I'm learning (and the neighbors are moving)

Small section of Guitar and Amp area. I won't bother to list all 37 Guitars I own, or all the equipment. Perhaps someday. Yet this is over 30 years of buying.

Hey there...
You are correct about the truss setup:
Actually we have 2 setups..
We can either run 2 independent setups, but most often only use the 10 foot standard truss or use one of the other 5' sections for a total of 15' across. It's light and does the trick for us.
The lights are:
2 American DJ dimmer packs
8 single Par something's for the dimmers
2 AM DJ Mini Gressor
2 AM DJ Gobo Flex's
1 AM DJ big Strobe
Controlers are:
1 AM DJ DMX controller
1 AM DJ non DMX controller (but has auto options)
Everything was purchased from Guitar Center.
I got a great price after getting the best price possible and then going to beat up a buddy of mine at a Guitar Center in Chicago..
Hint.... There's a huge markup on these items..

Don, I really enjoy the Ultimate Support systems "thinker Toys" site. I have three Synth racks, and have been trying to figure out a way to consolidate things. It probably makes more sense to have a hardware store cut the aluminum pipe however. US components add up.
(LOL, funny, It never crossed my mind to consider my computers part of a studio. I suppose I'm still in the dark ages)

I dont' do any recording by computer yet..
I like hitting a munual record and play button... Seems more Manly.. ...
All kidding asside... I'll most likely go to a computer recording rig when I settle on some Rack mount cases and pic up another LCD sceen...
This stuff is pricey...
I really like the weight vs strenght of using a truss..
Here are a couple of closeup pics...
Also, notice the 3 lights hanging down... There make a great "Rain" light effect. It's a small section of track lighting. I put a plug on it and away we go.

As you can see, the keyboard corner has no elaborate lighting. This is all just for my leisure basically, a collection of stuff laid out in a studio type setting for live use, not really recording. I started to head in that direction, and than tripped over my own lack of ability to record. My stuff is reel to reel, cassette, and analog. Yet I enjoy playing the instruments, and just being an instrumentalist. I don't like recording, or tech stuff.
I just screwed some salvaged track lighting into the ceiling for my own fun. No practical purposes. Given my foolishness when it comes to doing anything electrical, I'm just happy the place hasn't burned down yet. Incidently, on the top shelf of a side wall shelf unit I built (glass shelving) where I keep the mixers, and other stuff is an Ampeg B-25B amp head. I'm trying to defy basic scientific physical properties, and assuming it won't someday land on my head

Mmmmm purty!!! We're down to 7 guitars right now (had to pare down a little when we moved from Oregon)
Since there aren't many, I'll list 'em for ya..
*Takamine Jasmine acoustic
*(??) some nice off-brand acoustic (awesome sound though - sounds like a martin!!)
*Fender 12-string
*Fender Strat
*Rickenbacker 6 (blonde)
*Peavey bass
*Ovation (style) acoustic/electric
Hubby likes to run his Ovation-type guitar through his POD & into his old Fender Twin... mmm nice sound.
We also use a Tascam 4-track tape recorder... but we lack a mixer!! ugh
Anyway :p I've got pics of our 'stuff' earlier in this thread.
