If you can afford the SRM's go for it. They are only 10" or 12" speakers and I do not consider them overkill. Yes, they can really crank and yes, they are professional speakers. However, I want my home karaoke sound to be the best it can be and my SRM450's are the centerpeice of my home setup. If you were a concert pianist and had the space for a grand piano, should you not buy one because it isn't essential for home use? You buy it beacuse you want the best sound and its something you want.

Just my opinion.

The SRM450's are 12", the SRM350 are 10".
