The RSQ-SV222 unit looks VERY reasonably priced. For home use would there actually be any advantage to going to the 333 unit with the additional trays ? Price difference is minimal. Is RSQ owned by JVC ?
This unit is only from about 160-230 depending on where one looks. Also many offers exist as bundles. Thing is, I don't need the microphones. Yet for under $300, you can get some music discs too.
Aren't there any legit, and affordable DL sites on the net where a person can pay, and stock their computer with Karaoke songs, Sites that aren't breaking laws ?IE. Units such as the CAV jukeboxes. Wouldn't such downloadable software be more affordable ? As opposed to stocking a compilation with stuff you don't like

For home use I don't see why anyone would NEED the triple tray - honestly. The JVC/RSQ single tray is a fast load & cue.
RSQ is not owned by JVC, but JVC DOES make 2 models for them. When JVC was getting out of the karaoke market, RSQ bought the rights & JVC reproduced the player with RSQ name. JVC decided to stay in the biz & continued making their models as well which are identical to the RSQ (i've heard the laser eye is plastic in the RSQ & glass in the JVC though).
Top Hits Monthly supposedly allows download on a pay per download mp3+g format.

I have the triple tray at home. It's nice to have cds playing, regular music, and have it go from cd to cd.

The only difference I've seen between the RSQ and JVC is the warranty.
90 Days on the JVC.
1 Years on the RSQ (Which is usually a little cheaper).
BTW, I have a number of Video CD's of Samarai movies from Japan (my fiance LOVES these films) and the 3 tray is nice to fill and just watch the movie without having to get up and switch between discs.
For a home party a single tray is fine since you're not worried about cranking through singers and 'pre-cueing' the next singer or two (which I do on the 3 tray during a show). When I've done home parties we are far more relaxed and take our time between singers.

After I ripped my cd+g's I just want to say don't bother getting a player. Just rip your cd+g's and play them happily from your computer!!
Lonman,
I am even considering replacing my 1584's with the trx 15" monitors. The downside though is I would definately need a subwoofer, whereas with the 1584's I can get by without. Since the 153 cab cannot be standmounted it should really either be flown or put on top of the 2x18 subs. That would be kickass, but perhaps I little bit too much for my home
Steven,
if you only have an old catalog take a look at their website. They now have a new line of bass amps and caps. Just like the trx is an upgrade to their club line of speakers so is the brx an upgrade to their redline of bass equipment.
BTW. Carvin has 3 year warranty on their power amps and 5 years on their guitars...

Gorgeous guitar Morten ! I love the natural wood finish. I tried uploading a corner of my guitar room, but the photo size apparently is too large. On my AOL site I have pictures of about 11 of my guitars. I currently UL'd a photo of a corner of my Home Studio Keyboard section. I'm sitting behind my Steinway BG piano. Behind me is one of three Ultimate support three-tier stands. with two synths, and a Yamaha electric piano. On the wall is a rack system I built that has a few amps, mixers, etc..
