Anybody ever seen a Topless bar that had Karaoke? Close to where I am there's one that just started Karaoke on Sundays. On the other nights its topless dancers--complete with the mirrors and poles. Anyone else know of such places?? And I'm not making this up. I know of one other KJ on here who has to of drivin by this very same place since hes in the same area as I am.

Maybe this is the next big expansion for Karoake Karaoke singers backed with topless dancers! Or maybe Karaoke singers BEING the topless dancers!

Outside Orlando there is a town (just north-east of Maitland) that enacted a 'ban' on nude/topless bars effectively shutting down one of the premiere 'hot-spots' in the area. There was a loophole for 'public performances' of 'classic works' so the strippers, er, erotic dancers started doing MacBeth!

This went back and forth between the government and the bar for quite some time... was still going on when I left Orlando nearly 5 years ago! The newpaper and radio coverage of the battle stayed in the headlines for months.

I can already see it - singer gets up to the mic & has to ask for a restart 4 times because he missed his cue.

Never heard of anything like that before - although have joked about the concept - guess someone actually took it to the next level.

I had been approached to do a topless bar a few years ago. My own discomfort prevented me from doing it, even for the lark and the ability to put it on a resume! !

They did eventually rent out a system, did the karaoke, and it was a bomb! Nobody cared that anybody was singing. They just wanted to look at the show!

I think we'd lose our 75 yr. old couple! And if they did participate, I am SURE we'd lose at least 1/2 of the rest of our singers.


And....



Ditto ..... Shotgun CC would stay at home those nights!!

I have done ran a karaoke show in a strip bar many times before... "hardest" shows I ever ran hehehehhe - tig

Nothing more sensuous than a stripper dancing to the beat of some drunken tonedeaf guy singing "oh my papa". They'll need to impose a hefty cover charge to turn away that crowd

Seems like I've read on one of the boards in the last year about someone who plays at a nudist colony. Anyone else remember reading about it?

Ya I also remember that tread. Can't remember where though. Seemed he had a great time.

I just recently read about a new thing (well.. new to me) called pornaoke! The karaoke performer is on a stage and behind him/her is a giant screen showing a porn flick (no sound)... the performer is to give the sounds he/she feels are appropriate. Sounds pretty funny!

Oh my gosh...

yeah, it's like the Movieoke, where you take five mins of a movie get up and voice out the parts. It can be quite entertaining I'm told!
