FYI - The new cheaper SM58 mics. are made of plastic. The heavy metal ones are still over $100.00. Sometimes you can by one cheaper on eBay.

Not bad....retail is $199.00. I just looked on eBay and you can find a new one now for $89.00 to $99.00 but they wanted $19.00 for shipping. So you paid less than most. I found one listed on eBay that had Shure spelled wrong. It was advertised as "Sure." I bought it for $48.00 including shipping! :D

But that was a fluke.

Whoa what a steal!! We got our 2 'slightly used' and paid about $55/each at a second-hand music store. They're the old fashioned metal type (no 'on/off' switches though). Great sound quality.
