Hello everyone,

With a little over a week until the new year, I thought it would be interesting to see what you are considering to do or not do next year.

Can you believe that this past year has gone by so quickly?

This topic was started on another (unrelated) forum that I moderate and I figured it would be interesting here as well.

NOTE: we are not going to hold you accountable.

The poll is only for 9 days! (Now thru Jan 1st)

This year -

I am going to go out more. Visit with friends and make new ones at all the venues around my area.

Send actual letters to my family. Especially, Mom & grandma they would be completely surprised to finally get a hand written letter.

Spend more time with my family - those close and those far away. (this will require me earning more $$) Tell those that are important to me that "they are important to me!"

Start eating healthier and stop smoking! <-- those will be the toughest!

That's a few of mine and what are yours?

I'm not good at keep resolutions so I stopped making them. Well, I guess I was good at that one resolution!?

It's kinda like saying I'm a compulsive liar! - Do you believe me or not?

Anyway, although I don't make resolutions - I do intend to spend more time at home and less on the road. I think that is a good one.

Also, I like the idea of sending actual letters - that has kind of gone the way of the dinosaur. Wouldn't my family be surprised also!

Happy New Year everyone!

I don't usually make resolutions... but I think if I keep them real they will be more attainable and I'm less likely to fail.

First off..... I will gain only 5 pounds... see.... it could be 10... but I think 5 is doable.

I will spend more time on the internet... but I will occasionally watch a movie on TV with the family and I won't leave my msn messenger on and hear everybody signing on... that way I won't be twitching though out the movie ... wondering who is talking to me. :?

I will go to the gym on January 2nd... and I will follow it up with a visit on the 4th.. not sure which month!

I'm not gonna smoke another cigarette ever!!!!! That one is a sure thang... since I don't smoke!

I'm gonna do the laundry this year... I'm sure it will be like getting new clothes... I don't even know what is at the bottom of it. I'm pretty excited about that! :D

I'm gonna finish all the Christmas songs I promised Shirls.... and have them ready for next Christmas!

Wish me luck!!!

I promise to drink more alchohol and smoke at least four packs of cigs each month.
I will try very hard not to eat properly skipping meals and then binge on cheeseburgers or Sonic Frito Chili Cheese wraps a minimum of every three days.
I vow to try some variety of illicit drugs that I haven't used before.
Allow my checking account to get all out of sorts on a regular basis.
Annoy my boss with smarty pants comments about his liver spots on his head daily.& Sing Karaoke at as many of the swanky taverns I can find in this lil town.
It will be rough.. but thats my goal!

Hmmm. if you like the name Tinkles we can call you that!
I had a poodle named Tinkles
whom like to eat cookies with sprinkles
The pup ate so many
but still she stayed skinny
a tape worm was the demise of Tinkles

REALLY??? Oh Melly --- I think we're related! I'm 4' 10 1/2" (the 1/2 is very important - just as my family!) My 9 yr old niece is so excited to be as tall as Aunt Cindy it isn't even funny. I tell her that I'll go back to 80's hair which made me about 6 inches taller if I have to. LOL
