Recently, just after Walter Becker of Steely Dan passed, I was singing "Josie" with a nod to Walter and a dedication to a real-life Josie who was one of our bartenders. I realized that there was a song called "Molly" by Sponge and that is the name of the other bartender. I made sure to devote that one to her.
Then, I had the idea to figure out how many songs either have a female name as the title or have a female name in the title.
So, I decided to start this thread and request responses to be "titles-artists" as follows:
Josie - Steely Dan
Molly - Sponge
Please search the thread before posting duplicates.
Please verify that the title-artist you post has been released in karaoke format.
I could name many, many others but I'll just start with the two above because that's how the idea came to me... I'll wait a while to reply with more. What comes to mind?
