Hi ALL!

I'm a newbie but have some questions.

I've visited several sites and purchased some CD's via the net. I AM LOVING KARAOKE RIGHT NOW.

Are there any sites that you can purchase just 1 song at a time online and have it downloaded?

What are some of the best sites you guys have used?

Any suggestions on how to get bump on the log friends to join in?

Top Hits Monthly has songs available for "download", but I don't know their agreement...

Be warned--even if you do find a site that you can download karaoke tracks legally, you'll still need to have the right kind of burner and software to put it onto a disc. Your regular, run-of-the-mill burner won't cut it.

While the Plextor CD-R burners seem to be the drive of choice for burning and ripping CDG's I've had good luck with DVD burners being able to handle the CDG format without any issues.

I've tried both the 'new' Sony Dual Layer drive ($99 after $30 rebate) and a cheap single layer drive I bought about a year ago.

Up until then I was using my old SCSI 4x4x16 Yamaha CD burner which also worked flawlessly (but slowly).
