Well, our digi-cam isn't working right now, but here's our equipment:
2 Shure SM58 mics with boom stands
1 Shure SM57 instrument mic with boom stand
Peavey 200w XR560 PA
2 Peavey 358-S triple speaker cabinets with 15" speakers (those suckers crank!!!)
Line6 Pod Pro (guitar effects processor)
1976 Fender Twin Reverb Amp
and a Tascam 4-track analog recorder (we really need a digital recorder)
But to submit songs to SS, I just use a cheap headset mic and Cool Edit Pro.

this is an older pic. The eq has been replaced, as has the mixer... that's the behrenger I used to have. We still use it, just not for karaoke. (the mic effects went out shortly after this picture was done.
The laser player is also gone... although I still have it. Just too much crap to haul around for a mobile!
The case is still the same. The PC has been replaced, but it's not in production YET... and it's going to be the same setup. PCDJ-Red with Winamp.
I have dupes of everything at home... that's the only reason I'm posting this picture...

Well, they don't come cheap, but if you're never really satisfied with the sound you get from your amp, they are WORTH the price!! It's like every amp you can buy all rolled into one (plus more). My husband LOVES his. He does this thing where he plays an acoustic/electric through the POD with this flangey sound on it into the Fender Twin, and it rocks!!
We've never had a problem with ours, so highly recommended from this end.

Lee, I think that's a monitor you see instead of a window.

My dad has the whole "studio" thing going on in his spare room... 2 computers, 32 track mixing board, 2 external soundcards plus the internal ones to get just the "right" sound, minidisc players, DAT machines, LOADS of wires, knobs button sliders and those things with the little lights that go up and down when the musics playing... Crytal would be in HEAVEN!!!
I just have my computer, my mic, a pair of headphones and an old stereo system that a friend of mine was going to throw out.... and thats my sooperdoooper setup !!!!

I would guess thats the window between the recording booth and the engineer's station, so they can make funny faces and send hand signals to each other

That is INDEED A bridge in the 2nd window (off to the left). That gig was at an old Railroad station that was converted to a bar. In fact, that place is also a railroad museum!
Tig, get over here and take a photo of my livin' room, dammit! !
