i think it's my fault ??i thought it didn't do him right i was the first to comment him on the song and i said to him i think it's not really your thing he can do better so i guess menephes did conclude to take it of

no worries ad, only took me 2hrs to record and edit that your few words were "at least you tried,i dont think this is your song"
I;m really trying hard to find my own naturel voice and experimenting on different songs,
a little more feedback on what you think i was doing so wrong would be most helpful, constructive comments go a lot further , I'm always very hessitant posting a song in my own voice as I know its pretty (@$%&#!) and needs a lot of working on, the thread I posted about "what part of your body do you sing from" explains that,
I DONT want to be singing Elvis songs all the time I am here on ss, I think the world and its mother can all sound like Elvis if they really wanted to,
Its nice to recieve 44 comments when I post an Elvis song, But it dosent feel right to me reading them as ithere not me,there comments for the singer i am mimicking; I'm not an elvis fan, I dont care to much for singing those tunes, they dont excite me, I want to be singing tunes that I like, In my own voice, so when I do get a nice comment, I know its For ME! and not someone I am Hiding behind, if that makes any sense ..
Sorry about pulling the song Gilly, I did read your comment and thanks very much, but when you have like 18 views and 2 comments, I knew Ad was right so I pulled it, the last thing I want to be doing is embarrasing myself, I am trying real hard to find a naturel flow to my own voice, sorry once again Gilly, just bare with me for how long this is going to take i dont know ..

I know how you feel rob:) When I first started singing online... people always requested songs, and then wanted me to sing and sound exactly like the original artist. (like, alanis)... And then judge me on how much I sounded or DIDN"T sound like her... drove me NUTS....

To be honest, I HEARD your real voice on the sub you deleted. And, i LIKED what I heard.I wanted my husband to hear it, because, I had been telling him about your search to rediscover your own singing voice, and i wanted him to hear how you completely DIFfereNT you sounded on that one, as compared to your elvis submissions.

That is the only reason I asked where this sub went:) I will keep looking for more:) And there better be a LOT more:) /hugs:)

Just a quick hint... some of us are HERE to give feedback, and we try to do it in a constructive manner. You might want to put something in your song description to help us along though... something like "Constructive criticism welcome!"

(heck, I might even make my own blinkie for that if I get motivated!!)

Just to remind folks to BE NICE, but that you do want a critique, or let them know that you DON'T want a critique!!

Don't give up, keep posting!

Rob, I have all of your originals, and stuff saved on my comp, and he has heard em all:)... but, there was just something about this one, i liked, you sounded... hmm, vulnerable, like... i can't describe it, but, I liked it.. Anyways, sorry to be so annoying:) I hope you redo this one someday:) I will leave ya alone now, i PROMISE:)
