Actually it's usually the second and third thing asked for, number one being your drivers license. :rotflmao:

Even when we drive in Canada

Agree with Lone Wolf. According to Texas dmv: “You are required to register the vehicle & keep the window sticker current, but you are not required to carry the paper receipt in the vehicle, UNLESS it is a commercial vehicle.”

?? Never heard of that. If you get pulled over the first thing asked for is registration and proof of ins.

Yep we only have to show proof of insurance and drivers license.

i always wondered why they ask for registration....
most of the time they run the plates before pulling you over and the computer will say if it is registered currently or not.

Because you can take a plate off a similar make/color car or get bogus tabs so they want to make sure all matches up to the actual car. A friend of mine had his plates stolen once and the car they were put on were used in a robbery.

Here the window sticker has the license plate number on it. If they don't match then you have a problem.

No, so I can sue them and force them to stop. Unlike many places, we have attorneys in Texas who can go after this kind of pirate.

Sure, you can, but you won't. Because there is no return on your investment if you make them stop. You do better financially if they spread drives far and wide so you can sue the users and force them into settlements. Remember Kurt's famous motto: "Suits drive sales." You're not out to stop piracy at all, you're out to license it and make money from it. You've even invented a special "Pirate HELP License" in order to keep the piracy alive and well and making you money.

Based on your past history, that's all you have done for years anyway.
