Oooh girl, you make me want to post it:) , actually, one of my least faves of hers, along with hands... and.. one other I can't think of now. (and her entire new cd)
Out of curiousity... wouldn't that be an incredibly BORING song to hear 5 TIMES?!!?>!?!>
But, I have never been to karaoke...
but, i hate a million songs, so, i can imagine I would have quite the list...
Sorry missy. i just wanted an excuse to see myself type. Looking good gilly, looking good.

I'd like to add "Stand by your man" -- especially when it's sung by a group of 4 drunk men that do nothing but cheat on their wives -- one night we had to listen to this same group of men sing it 5 times in a row -- no lie!! (and only 1 has any kind of voice at all).

Ooh, I can't think of quite a few right off the top of my head:
Picture - Sheryl Crow & Kid Rock (too many attempts by too many drunks)
Down With the Sickness - Disturbed (I hear this almost every weekend... groan)
Anything by KISS, AC/DC, or Garth Brooks
Amazed - Lonestar (Played out and way overdone)
Summer Nights, Any Grease song
Love Shack - B52's (I hear it EVERY WEEKEND)
Sister Christian - Nightranger (I just never liked this song anyway)
You Were Meant for Me - Jewel (love Jewel, but after the 90 millionth time of hearing it butchered, it tends to lose its appeal)
Follow Me - Uncle Kracker
Sin Wagon - Dixie Chicks (UGH!!! I've always detested that song)
There's a ton more... just can't think of them right now. I'll add as I think of 'em. It's not that I never liked any of the ones listed or that I wouldn't mind listening to the original, but jeez! You hear the same songs every weekend by the same people over and over who aren't exactly doing the song *that* well, eh, you get a little sick of 'em.

gotta be the drunken trio of girls singing "goodbye earl" by the dixie chicks...they slur their way through it till the part where they say "earl had to die" and they always seem to articulate if not yell the word "die" to perfection.....no song is safe...its the singer that is the topic here...i even heard someone wreck "tequilla" once........
hey debauchery.....what if someone sings ACDC but they sing it good...is it still lame cause that changes my songlist quite a bit if i throw those out !

Ok, dumbdrums... I'll give you that one. But! I have NEVER heard anyone do a good rendition of AC/DC at a BAR before. I heard a chick attempt the Celine Dion version of 'Shook Me All Night Long' and I nearly fell off the stool. Speaking of which, you should have seen this show I watched on VH1 a few months ago: 40 Least Metal Moments. Avril Lavigne singing Metallica and Celine Dion giving a go at AC/DC rated pretty high up there.

I got sucked into that show! I was into metal when I was a teenager, so I just HAD to watch it. Who knew? Apparently not the ones who thought they could sing it....

I think, back in the 80's when Olivia Newton-John made 'em soooooo stylish (gag), they were intended to increase body heat during a work-out to burn more fat. But, I remember them being worn as fashion statements. My mom bought me a pair for xmas one year. I shoved them in between the mattress and box springs on my little brother's bed. No one found them for years... and when mom did, she didn't even know what they were anymore!

, when I was little, I had a tshirt that said "let's get physical", because apparently (i was like, the age of my daughter, when did that album come out? like '81?) apparently, I was obsessed with the video... , not until I saw it when i was older, that i realized what it was REALLY about.
And, my parents used to laugh at me, and make me sing the song.. to her customers, etc (she's a hairdresser)... , darn them....
And now I do things like that to MY daughter! Ah, life:)

I don't know for sure when that album came out, but I remember seeing the video on MTV back when they only showed, what, 10 videos?? I remember thinking it was cheesy even then. I saw a part of it the other day, along with 'Abracadabra' (forget who that one's by). I laughed until my side hurt. Wish you had a pic to share in that lovely tshirt. That would beat all! knightshow wrote: and Debauch, sorry you don't like Kiss, AC/DC stuff... those are some of my best songs.
and Tig just NAILS "Sister Christian" You can sing 'em all you want, Matt... I don't mind 'em when people can actually sing them well. It's the drunkards in the bars wailing like cats in heat I don't wanna hear Melly wrote: The sad thing is.....i still have a set of leg warmers somewhere......and the other day i bought a new pair of high tops......and OMG.....they look like ONJ from that damn physical video......
WHAT?!?!? They still MAKE high tops? I remember my first pair of high tops. I was in 2nd grade and they were cheapies I think from Payless Shoes. They were white as chalk and made my feet look like boats, but I thought I was cool. I wore them the next day to school and as we stood in line to go back inside after recess, some mean little boy decided to kick the gravel onto them, coating them in dust and scraping them up. I shoved him. He spat. The recess teacher then hauled him down to the principal's office. He never bothered me again.
Hey, speaking of leg warmers... anyone here remember rolling the bottom of their jeans? You know, after folding them to make a crease and then strategically rolling them to make them cling to your ankles? That was the worst! I was so glad when that went away...
OK, I think that was officially my longest post.

Ah, yes.. Z. Cavaricci!! Had a few pairs of those. Slouchy socks WITH rolled jeans. Talk about dorky! Good thing I don't have any kids to show old pictures to. How about those "Hypercolor" shirts? The ones where you could leave a handprint on someone's rear end because the shirts were so long they might as well have been nightgowns....
