So I recently asked Karasoft support an question, which I followed up with another quick question just to clarify... And was totally blown away by the unprofessional responses I received. Here's our exchange:

Me: How do I change the cross fade time? I thought I had found it once before, but now can't find it. Thanks!

Karasoft: The Crossfade (XF) slider at the bottom.

Me: oes that allow you to universally change the time from like 2 secs to 4 secs 6 secs etc... for all auto play songs that is?

Karasoft: Yes and you'd know that if you tried it.

Me: Wow... seriously? Nice attitude. Sorry for asking a follow up question.

Karasoft: I thought the same thing. Wow. Except mine was more like "Wow, is this guy that lazy that he didn't even try it?" I think it's only fair that one wow be confronted by a matching wow. Otherwise, I'm doing no better than your parents by teaching you that you can be lazy and expect the rest of the world to make up for it. I mean if you've got some special needs learning disability, I think you should disclose this if you want people to treat you that way. If that's the case, let me know, and I'll give you a full apology. Otherwise, grow up and stop using others to do things you're fully capable of doing.

LOL Not that I’m siding with Bob. I’m actually with you on this. I agree that he could use a little pr refinement in customer relations. But we as karma users have grown accustomed to his ways we just brush it aside & look at his excellent software programs such as karma, kj file manager, song list generator to name a few.

For us it’s just another “classic Bob”. Karma sidenote: I tried/bought compuhost, mtu hoster, siglos. No diss or knock on these programs but karma still remain as my preferred hosting software. Just a matter of personal preference, nothing more.

Definitely agree with you Brian, on both counts.

The software programs are superb... He just seemed a little "grumpier" today than usual, lol!

Thanks for the reply, nice to know it's just not me.

Believe me its not just you. I got blasted by him for asking him to let me buy a Karma license for someone else with my credit card. You would have thought I asked him to rewrite the entire Karma code to suit my needs. Yes, it was another classic "Bob" statement just as you received. I'd reprint it but he would probably revoke all my licenses.

Here is a topic I created to let Bob know how I feel about his efforts:

BTW I'm still running flawlessy..... not even one single glitch. Thank you Bob  :argue:

He can only do that;
(1) because you've agreed to allow him to cancel/revoke a license "for any reason" and,
(2) you connect your machine to the internet.

Seriously for just a minute; if Latshaw wakes up one morning and decides he doesn't want to deal with this anymore, change his focus, retire, he can easily run a "scorched earth" plan to revoke all licenses on his way out the door.... just for spite.

He's got nothing to lose, he already has your money and it's not like he cares about his customer support reputation.

I have mine set "do not check for updates", and I never connect to the internet with any Latshaw programs running.
