Karaoke Forums

Hello everyone. I stumbled onto this site and thought it would be cool if it's even possible for me to use. So I'm starting from scratch on all of this and need to know what exactly I need to have in order to create and submit recordings here. I have a pretty good PC (only a couple of years old), using Windows XP, a cd burner, and my own Karaoke player.

Do I need some sort of special software to do this? Also, how do I get the sound from my Karaoke system to record on the PC? Or is it all done on the PC somehow?

Any basic help to get started would be much appreciated. Or if all this information is listed somewhere else, maybe you could give me the link to find it. Thanks to all for your help.

Just download any free MP3 Ripper program off the internet and rip your recordings onto your puter in MP3 format and then submit them to the Singer's Showcase. Pretty straight forward process. Just do a search for "MP3 Ripper" and youll find what you need.
