If only that were the way we were planning to determine whether or not to sue...unfortunately for you, it's not.

If only that were the way we were planning to determine whether or not to sue...unfortunately for you, it's not. "unfortunately?" I think not. Please confirm for all the readers here that you would sue a venue or KJ for trademark infringement for playing CB songs off a hard drive they purchased from Tennessee Production Center or Digitrax. Reassure them that their purchase won't get them sued or just tell them that you'll sue them and once they show the drive, you'll drop them from the suit... Liberally sugarcoat the process by saying they'll only "be named" in a suit and then "quickly dismissed." But hey, it's just business.

Those aren't the only two choices. There is a third way of dealing with the existence of these drives.

Your attempt to put words in my mouth and create some sort of ominous mystery isn't working very well, but keep trying because it's rather amusing. [CUE MYSTERIOUS MUSIC]

(1) Reassure them that their purchase won't get them sued (2) Tell them that you'll sue them and once they show the drive, you'll drop them from the suit (No words put in your mouth) OR (3) ??? Using option 3, we can effectively police the CB trademarks for all types of media, without using a "sue-and-dismiss" technique. We'll take option 3, and I'll enjoy watching the wheels turn endlessly in your head as you try to figure out what option 3 is.

Just to clarify: I never said there were only two options, I merely presented 2 options. YOU added " only." Words mean things... remember? Your words not mine. I'm not about to waste a minute on it, I have much more interesting things to do. Patience... Hey, what do you think of the idea of me starting a crowdfunding campaign? Maybe I could use it to buy more product.... or maybe even make karaoke songs? I know a few publishers you know....

You waste every waking moment here fruitlessly attempting to debunk everything Harrington says. Who the h e double hockey sticks are you trying to bs?? Everyone needs a hobby. Besides, it's not how MUCH you work... it's what you do when you're working. And to clarify your statement above; I'm not out to "debunk" everything Mr. Harrington says, but rather to expose what he'd rather keep hidden and correct him when he doesn't tell the truth.... like when he says I "hate" him... which is a lie.

The utter futility of what you're trying to do is demonstrated by two facts: (1) I only keep hidden what I'm obligated to keep hidden. (It's not a question of what I'd rather hide or not hide.) Otherwise, I'm an open book. Any "exposure" you might offer of these "hidden" facts isn't based on your actual knowledge; it's based on your uninformed speculation and guesswork. (2) I always tell the truth. Of course, my saying so is meaningless; what matters is that what I say here and elsewhere is backed up by the actual facts, which are relatively easy to investigate. c. staley wrote: .... like when he says I "hate" him... which is a lie. No one could spend so much time attacking me without being motivated by hatred. If you think you don't hate me, you should step back and take a long look.

I know a few publishers you know.... If you want to start a crowdfunding campaign, go ahead. If you want to make karaoke songs, go ahead. I have no opinion on either matter.

"open book" is a bit of a stretch wouldn't you agree? JimHarrington wrote: (2) I always tell the truth. You tell the truth when you run out of options, like describing a legally-binding contract as though it's just an innocuous little "program" and then admitting later that technically it really is a contract. So no, I would disagree with you completely here, you don't always tell the truth and that's just the most recent example. If it makes you fee any better, if you were on fire, I would cross the street.
