We've now made the GEM series bonus discs page available to all licensees, not just those who are due for renewal this year. We mailed out postcards to all of our GEM series licensees with an access code and a PIN to be able to access that part of our website. If you're a GEM series licensee and you haven't received a postcard, you can request your access code and PIN via the website. what would be really cool is if SoundChoice could create a "Streaming box loaded with 16500 SC tracks available for use in an "OFFLINE" environment then have wifi availability to auto install updates.

That would be so cool... I will be their first customer. (Hint hint)

SC licensing did not allow for any digital downloads. That is why the GEMs are on discs only. They would have to relicense everything to do what you propose, and some of the music is off limits to any form of resale. Keep hoping and dreaming

it's not really downloading. Its streaming... kind of like Digitrax on a set top box where there is control over the files being tied to the machine and not easilly made to "steal" or "share" like digital downloads.

I think it would be a huge improvement in new technolgy for Pep/Soundchoice.

I dont have to dream, because it's out there now and available to most users that subscribe to Digitrax KaraokeCloudPro on their laptops.

This is same thing just replace laptop with HD Box and have iPad control.

But Digitrax KaraokeCloudPro is not SC 16500 tracks! So you are dreaming

They would still have to go through licensing each track for streaming as they would downloads.

Careful, you'll give yourself an ulcer or something. This is pretty standard stuff. If you want an accurate prediction for when stuff will come out from PEP you take the projected date, add three weeks and then hope for the best.
