Doesnt your software play multiplex discs and have the ability to remove the vocal while playing?

Some softwares do. KaraFun only removes Multiplex if its their product.

either way, Audacity completely removed the Voice channel but you can only do one song at a time. 10 seconds a song.

Cavs was the first company to come out with a viable karaoke digital unit and for years was ahead of the curve. They spent tons of money on their format and IF there is software out there that converts it, cavs has clearly stated it is illegal and not authorized by them.
Yes, there are a couple people out there that made cracking software on the SCDG. Yet we wish to respect cavs position on this and not do anything to adversely effect the sales of their laptop software. Sorry, just passing along facts and wish not to seem harsh. Take care all.

Here's what I found:

SuperCDG Converter from KaraokeWare the makers of CompuHost
Karaoke File Converter V4 from RoxBox
CDGFix from CDGfix

CDGFix was the only one that would convert multiplex audio as it ripped the files, but is a very complex program. Karaoke File Converter converted multiplex audio in a previous version, but not V4, however it is very easy to use. I did not try SuperCDG Converter but the fact that it is made by KaraokeWare leads me to believe it is fine to rip SCDGs, at least as much as CD+Gs.

Which is the best of the bunch IMO.

Why are we re-hashing a ten year old thread with commonly known information anyway?

What next? How to unzip files?

Didn't even realize it was an old thread returned from the dead. Niagra Girl tends to do that quite a bit.
