Hey guys,
Christmas is upon us and I just thought it would be cool to see how everyone decorates for Christmas or Hanukah, which ever you celebrate!
Post your pics in this thread of your holiday decor....
Here are a few of mine...
Did I go overboard? If you think so then just realize that, that is only SOME of what I have done to my house!

Thanks Crystal....
I LOVE decorating for XMAS... I go all out and get crazy! My friends call me the Christmas Freak! I usually do a themed tree every year... I did purple this year and next year im thinking of doing a victorian theme....
That sucks that your hubby doesnt celebrate... well, i mean, its his right but it sucks for you if you like to celebrate it. Well.. you can share my treee... I have another one out in my music room/den... i didnt post that pic. Its a smaller tree, about 4 feet. Next year, for the victorian theme, I am going to buy one of those tall skinny trees, and then I will put the 4 footer in the comp room, the living room one, in the den and the victorian one in the living room... yeah, i know... 3 trees.. Im nuts...
I am a true xmas nut. However, I dont have any outside decorations this year... reason being, we bought this house in March, and it is on a one lane little road, on 5 acres and my front yard is an acre and there is only a handful of houses and no one would be able to see the lights anyway...
That kinda makes me sad cause I would like to show off my outside decorating talents (i usually have TONS of lights outside)....
But my fiancee talked me out of it this year (he just didnt want to do it ) So the inside is done up to the brim to over compensate for the outside not getting done!

Here is a site with some victorian ornament pictures...

They have some beautiful stuff.
I was trying to find a picture of a decorated tree online as to what I want to do but couldnt find one, but I think you get the idea.

Are you saying my tree is "well-lit" lmao! And yes, it is in front of the door to block those damn carolers! Dang kids want to come to me and spread some sort of xmas cheer... baaah humbug! ...
Actually, we dont use the front door, we use the side door and it was the only place to put it cause i have a HUGE sectional couch in the living room which devours most every wall and corner.
And if you want to post an image... you must first be sure it is uploaded somewhere on the web (like a personal webpage or photobucket) and then right click on it and select properties to get the pics url...
copy and paste that url for the pic into the thread with this tag on either side [img[ [/img]
Now lets see your pics rob!

OK, ok.... here's a pic of my itty-bitty little tree......
All the decorations were chosen by my 3 year old son, and he "helped" mummy decorate it too...
Just as well its only itty-bitty... he's pulled it over on top of himself 4 times so far... its been up about 10 days... which is why it's looking tatty already!!
Oh, for the days of pristine, colour-co-ordinated trees like I used to have....... LOOOL

nashville singer, My gawd, your place looks like MY mother decorated it. Every year, she puts up, like 3 trees, (all full sized) and all with different themes, etc etc. I mean, like, the WHOLE house looks like a group of elves puked up xmas ALL over the house:) And, my mother lives next door to her sister, (who's husband is actually, my FATHERS brother) so they always compete.
I don't celebrate xmas, but, if i did, i would probably have a martha stewart inspired decoration thing going on. (i love martha:)
neat to see all of yer pics guys!!

Hey Nashville - nice decorations --- it must get awfully hard to get in/out of your house with the tree in front of the door
wanna come decorate my house? I just can't seem to get into the spirit this year at all. BUT - I do have a funny photo from my hubby's decorating adventure earlier this week. When I get home I'll put it up (yep - still at work - taking a break).
Later
