I just purchased the download for the March 2015 Hits of the Month. And, once again, all I get is an email showing the purchase price of $14.99. There is NO description of my purchase. Therefore, there is no way to prove what songs were purchased.

Clicking on Purchase History on the web site shows nothing. It's blank! There is NO reason for this. I remember this being an issue since day one. I haven't ordered anything from them for a while and now I remember why.

There is no excuse for this since every other download site can give you a detailed receipt containing the names and artists of the songs you purchased. And, keep your complete download/purchase history since the beginning of time.

I'm done with DigiTrax.

Exactly the reason why I don’t do business with them anymore. Over 180 tracks downloaded & only 15 showing in my download history. Kv & sbi will show your history from day one & all can be re-downloaded if necessary. I think itemized receipt is a business necessity as proof of purchase.

A receipt that shows only the invoice # and transaction id is not considered proper documentation in my book. I could foresee getting into hot water at tax time or with karaoke police. Also, there’s no support page with phone # or even "contact us" link. No track sound bite or sample bit for you to hear before purchase.

I'd definitely start buying from them again the day they solve these issues.

Add Zoom and Tricerasoft to the list or companies who will give you a detailed invoice, keep your history, and allow you to re-download if necessary.
I wanted to contact them but like you said, there's no phone number or email address. What kind of company is this???!! Obviously, they don't want to be bothered with customers.

Thanks Brian. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one frustrated by this. If they haven't corrected this by now, it looks like they're never going to. So, like you and many others I'm sure, I'm done with them.

I took Digitrax and Karaoke Cloud to task very early on for their lack of transparency. They know about this issue and they know it is costing them customers. Which in my opinion means they don't care.

Never bothered with them.

I own over 12000 CB tracks on CD+G. (audited & certified)

I also have a more complete selection of the other Mfrs that they offer.

Their "new" stuff is delayed and already available elsewhere.

Not worth the trouble or inconvenience.

I’m one of the lucky ones who bought 12k songs cb from their fire sale, already had 4k songs prior. I do like the instrumentation & arrangement from their new releases; got that old cb feel to it. It was posted here before they retained most, if not all the musicians from chartbuster. But until they resolved the issues I mentioned……..no dice. Not gonna happen.

I have bought 6 DTE songs. The only reason was I couldn't find them elsewhere. There are my, absolute, last resort.

The $1600 asking price for 6k cb songs is fair. Plus he’s including all kinds of cd extras.

I think I paid close to $4,000 for 12k hd, but that was weeks before their closing days. I found out the price went down another grand three days before they finally closed their doors. ‘still well worth it. It’s an awesome collector’s item.

Well... You know what they say...
If at first you don't succeed, CRY CRY again.

It's probably not going to change anything but, I sent an e-mail to someone who I had communicated with at Digitrax (when I had questions about The Cloud 3 years ago). I asked her to forward the following links to someone of authority who could address these issues (after over 3 years of complaining):

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27013&p=351142&hilit=receipt#p351142

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28738&hilit=receipt

viewtopic.php?f=35&t=29604&p=381085&hilit=receipt#p381085

viewtopic.php?f=35&t=31451&p=396899&hilit=receipt#p396899

Let's see if I get a response back.

Although I have my frustrations with DTE as far as song availability and late sweeps, I still try to order from them when I can just because I would hate to see one of our few remaining US manufacturers go under. We may need them some day.

But it does seem that they are focussing on the home market and streaming over the concerns of hosts.

As far as proof of purchase, you shouldn't HAVE to do this but for lack of anything better being provided, , you can screen shot your download screen each time you buy, print it and staple it to your receipt.

at the same time, why go out of your way to give money to someone because you would "hate to see one of our few remaining US manufacturers go under."
if they are not providing the host with what they need, they deserve to go under. we look at karaoke hosts who do not do the job and wonder why the venues don't let them go. to me, any business that does not do what their clientèle needs, does'nt deserve to stay in business. nothing against anyone specifically at DT, but if they would just provide what hosts neeed, there would be no problem. they are not, so host money should be redirected to someone who IS giving hosts what they need.
my money will continue to go to Zoom, Sunfly, SBI, KV, Tricerasoft. if you remember, i mentioned a long time ago that the ones who give hosts what they need will survive this mess...
current hits and demanded songs
releases in time for the songs to be at their peak and sung (sang?)
quality renditions
easily purchased in the format wanted by most hosts
a reasonable price
(one i did not think would actually NEED to be voiced) simple receipts for our records stating what track and when purchased.

the ones we all talk about on a continuous basis (Zoom, Sunfly, SBI, KV, Mr Entertainer) are the ones doing that and are getting a lions share of the business while the others who are NOT doing that are getting much less.

would anybody buy discs from Ace Karaoke or any other store if the receipt did not show what disc was bought when and for how much?

Let me be the first to say: I hope they go out of business.

As pointed out, this has been going on for over three years. And nothing has changed. If every other company can provide you with a detailed receipt, why can't they? There is just no excuse for this.

If you can't properly run your business then you shouldn't be in business at all. We don't need DigiTrax. There are many other alternatives.

No, we shouldn't have to be doing screen captures to get a detailed receipt showing our purchase(s). That is, after all, the most basic part of doing business.

Customer buys something... Customer gets a receipt showing, among other things, just what they bought. Wow, what a concept!

It's sad that the professional karaoke host, who has supported them throughout the years, gets a kick in the butt. My guess: they could care less. Never gonna be fixed.

So, if they go out of business, they have no one to blame but themselves. I, like many of you, will no longer support them.

In the words of George Strait, who said it best:

Goodbye, farewell, so long, vaya con dios.
Good luck, wish you well, take it slow.
Easy come girl, easy go.
