MIKE D wrote: ok its time selling the rest of sc disc will not take anything less the 50 a disc 100 on rare ones pm me I will send you list !!! Tell me another one! That was awesome! note.....just because people are listing discs on eBay for outrageous prices doesn't mean people are buying them. I have been watching some discs on eBay that have been relisted a 1/2 dozen times or more. They ALWAYS come down on the price. Especially when there are plenty of sellers selling the exact same discs for less. Good Luck!

As a Cheerleader, I stand by my statements that Sound Choice made some of the best sound tracks there are.
I have also said time again that I buy discs as cheaply as I can. To the tune of $1-$2/disc.
Given the choice between SC8300 at anything over $20 and buying the tracks from other vendors, I will buy the other vendors. But I am not a collector. You may find someone who will buy SC8300 at a premium just so they can say they have it.
As someone who owns seven (7) SC8125 discs, I can assure you that it a lot less special than people make it out to be (even if it sounds better than any other versions by anyone else).

I've wanted 8621 for a while, but ONLY need it for War Pigs as this IS the best version. But for anything over $20, the Dangerous version will have to do.

MIKE D wrote: sorry it was 8612 that I have two of that are selling for about 100.00 on web not 8621 They aren't "selling" for that much, they are being LISTED for that much. eBay is very much like a Used Car lot - The seller posts a higher than real value price. A buyer offers less. The negotiation begins. I suggest you watch the listings to see if they actually sell, how long it takes, and for how much. I have looked at eBay listings practically every single day for the last 5 years. I have almost 200 listings on my watch list. I track certain items in a spreadsheet and I can assure you that MOST of what gets listed high actually sells rather low. I routinely watch auctions that are posted high week after week after week then contact sellers to offer them 10% of what they listed it for and buy through private transactions. I am not saying that I am some uber-eBay god, just persistent and patient.

if you offered me 10% on anything I was selling I would show you the door and ask you to never come back how would you like your shows to offer you 10% of what you were asking so if u do a karaoke show for 200 that means you get 20.00 if you will do a show for that ill sell my disc to you for 10.00 each by your statement it sounds like your cheep

That said, I do get laughed at quite often when I tell venues my rates. Pirates and crapioke operators have glutted the market with cheap karaoke. If I can get my foot in the door, I can prove why my rates are fair and still make the venue money. You can't say the same for your discs...... No matter how many disc based operators step up....no matter how many people buy discs (including myself).....the fact remains that discs are a dead format. No one of an relevance makes them any longer. Sound Choice quality has become secondary to protecting ones self from getting sued. The primary reason people buy Sound Choice discs these days is to avoid litigation. Period. One thing for sure.....the longer you sit on them, the less they will be worth. The price for Sound Choice discs is artificially high due to litigation. But absolutely everything is stacked against a sustained high price for Sound Choice product - Discs are dead. Sound Choice product is losing it's relevancy and being replaced by quality renditions from the UK producers. KJ's are avoiding Sound Choice in greater numbers now due to increased cost to use and potential litigation. With all due respect to Sound Choice and Kurt, they have created a public relations nightmare over the past 5 years and a name change to PEP isn't going to fix that. Oh Yeah......Discs are still dead. In all seriousness though, I hope you find someone that will pay you want you want. The harsh reality is that you probably won't.

I am looking to buy 8100. I think it is an introduction to Sound choice disc with maybe 2 to 3 songs on it. If anyone has it and wants to sell it let me know. Thanks

Correction The introduction disc came before 8100. According to Sc the 8100 disc is a demo disc. I'm looking to purchase both. Thanks
