I always thought "Classical" music was instrumentals.... Like something you would hear at the Symphony or on an A.M. radio station.

oh duh you guys are a big help...NOT ok thanks anyways...it was worth a shot...but have decided Im not posting anymore songs anyways...
only gonna listen for a while and leave fluffy comments...
hugsssss to you all
cheers melodie
P.S. because of our so called honest and very frank Simon impersonators...syberchick and jean what ever....I will not be subbing as much ...them and there so called honesty have stolen my will to even want to record another song...its so fair on our subs that we can reply once and once only to these people...but the commentor or tormentor can rewrite there comments over and over again..with more lovely advise with there so called edit...no fair
I am sorry for these people who feel the need to hurt and kill what conferdance I had...onya

Hey y'all... just thought I'd add my little two cents into this discussion.
Classical music as it pertains to voice would be things like arias and art songs... think operas and oratorio music and some art songs (classically sung songs that do not belong to a larger body of work such as an opera or oratorio)
hope that helps

Melodie, please don't let them keep you from doing what you love to do!!! BTW, I loved your reply back to Syber. I think if people are going to leave critiques like that then they should take the time to post in the forum somewhere what the hell they're talking about.
This is a karaoke forum - most of us are here for the fun and friendships - we don't have any desire to be professional artists. I'm almost afraid to post a song anymore because I'm so worried about someone picking it apart - I can do that myself tyvm! Can't wait 'til Phill gets those options going - hope it will help.
Please Melodie, stay - we would miss you very much!! hugggsss

Hi my special friend Melodie! I know exactly how you feel. This is the risk we take when we bare our souls to the world, which is what we do on this site. Those who do the most in this world often get kicked the hardest, I've never understood why but that's life.. It's not what other people think of us that's important. We ourselves know what we are inside, and our opinion of ourselves should never waver in the face of someone else's (spur of the moment) opinion. None of us are perfect, in fact, what a boring world it would be if we were! I, for one, would be shattered if you left us. For every one who would knock us, there are many, many friends who love and support us! You really don't know the treasures that are within you! I have learnt too that the knockers don't hang around very long because they dont earn a support base. Please remember that the best fruit is always way out on the limb... and there will always be someone there to catch you if you fall! And finally... if you get flamed again... tell 'em you're only doin' it for the money!! Hugggzzz gal!!
