So last night (Sat) i had the opportunity to host a family friendly karaoke party for my birthday which was officially on the 21st So i go to set up my equipment when i notice that the cord for my video splitter is frayed, so i can't patch into my big screen tv which only has a rca and an hdmi input.. but i did have 3 separate displays, so in an uncharectaristic flash of , i went to the display settings and sure enough, there was a feature to mirror displays 1 and 2. a little bit of cable switching and voila, the lyrics went to both the monitor and to the tv, and i had a 3rd monitor to run my karaoke software. I don't know if you can do this in windows 7 but i just thought i'd share that in case someone else didn't know.

As for the actual show, it was a HUGE success! the was a birthday party for 60 people before mine, and i managed to get the majority of them to stay for an extra few hours. Plus a large majority of the people i had invited actually showed up - a first for me. I also broke my own record for singers at one of my shows (i think it was something like 20). I had a complete blast listening to all the kids sing, but i can barlely move now *lol*

cheers

-James

That's great to hear you had a success. You've worked hard for it.
