Or a great argument why we should all just delete "Picture" from our libraries once and for all.
Consider the source I suppose, the guy was named "Pegleg" and someone else was called "Possum". Classy bunch I'm sure.
I do agree with the once a night rule. The person who comes to me first and puts a song in. They sing it the one and only time it's getting done that night. If they botch it, oh well, not having a sing off to see who's the best.

I don't see any problem here... Heck, there are plenty of times I'd like to stab someone in the neck for singing that wretched song... (see my op "If I NEVER Hear This Song Again"...)
Funniest line from the story: "My husband At The Time" (Quick divorces in Memphis, I guess...)
Just goes to show Truth is not only stranger than fiction, it's funnier too.

People just need to chill out. Karaoke is not something that should be fought over. Otherwise, how many "My way" singers would live to tell the tale? "And now... the end is near...er than I thought!" I shall bear this is mind when I go to Thailand next year.

I remember back in the 90's there being a lot of friction between Venues, Hosts, Singers in the Dallas area. I witnessed a few verbal altercations between folks that would come in from Venue X spouting off about how their venue had better singers, a better host, or whatever.
I have not seen any of this behavior in a long time which is surprising given how much trash talking about other stuff takes place on social media.
