So I have seen several people claiming that there are lots of hosts and bars who are banning Soundchoice products. Some even despite the fact that they had spent thousands on their discs. Well I am willing to conduct a small experiment to find out.

I would be willing to trade any 4 of my Chartbuster essential sets *I have 1 thru 6* for a set of Foundations 1&2 and a set of bricks. That means you'll get an extra twenty discs from the deal.

I'll trade my discs, plus the ripped music for the same. If anyone is interested, or knows of one of these disgruntled hosts, they can PM me

Personally i won't be holding my breath.

I would take that deal in a heartbeat, as my area is one of those affected. One problem : I don't have the SC sets. The majority of what SC discs I carry ( less than 50 ) are Star and Power Pick series. Less songs per disc, but less expensive and a much higher percentage of "keeper " tracks per disc.

thanks for the honesty Joe, i know I came off as a little sarcastic, but if you run accross someone who is interested, then I really did mean it. I've always wanted a set of foundations, just could never justify the costs since I couldn't keep a show longer than a couple of weeks..

and now that i'm pretty much out of the business alltogether, I am certainly not going to miss the current discs I own..

It's not the product that is hated. It is the management, and their crappy policies. Many of us believe that we shouldn't have to pay for an unnecessary audit in order to rip our discs to our computers. SC is now the ONLY company who expects this to be done.

I would love to have a copy of the Gem set, I can't justify even $3k for a used set.
