Anyone have suggestions on affordable print businesses that print bulk, pre-cut, slips? My aching hands are so tired of trimming.

I just design my own, employ a local printer & have a case printed & cut! No place to really get slips already made up that are going to be any cheaper and typically wouldn't be designed to your specs..

I make my own, but here's a time and hand saving hint: Pick up a paper guillotine. No hand cramps, straighter more professional looking edges, and many sheets at a time.

That's what I used to do at my regular job..... Used their Xerox Machine and then their Paper Guillotine Cutter to trim it down.

I make my own, too. I also offer my customers the opportunity to print out slips from my website. http://firelightkaraoke.com/showinfo.html

We have a printer do ours and we also get an advertisement on them. The advertiser pays for the slips.

My local printer used to do it for me but as the years go by his charges go up as well; ridiculously way up. So I bought my own Canon copier, paper cutter, toner ink ($250) yields approx. 10,000 copies x 6 slips per sheet = 60,000 request slip. Paper: Wausau Ivory Card Stock 67lb, 250 sheets $7.78 from sam’s club online, free shipping http://m.samsclub.com/products/card-stock/3760149Allocate some spare time & just do it while watching tv. Easy does it!

Mine are done by the same printer who does my books... Very professional-looking... not to mention a legitimate expense for income-tax purposes.

Go here: http://www.karaosoft.com/Products.aspx You can download the Request Slip Generator for free. Design your own slips. Put them on a flash drive. Take the flash drive to a Staples store and have them printed and cut. It's pretty inexpensive to have them cut for you.

FedEx/Kinkos prints and cuts mine and boxes them. HUGE discount (-$100) when ordering 2000+ sheets

Thanks all. While I occasionally use the bulk cutter at the day job, I find I still prefer the professional look and uniformity of the cut-to-order ones. Kinko's, here I come.

I'd do some shopping around, Kinkos is usually the most expensive as compared to some of just local printing shops.

I checked two stores & pricing is the same: Their estimate for 2000 sheets cut 6 x = 6,000 request slips @ $514.77 Or half the amount 1000 sheets, 3,000 slips @ $257.93 Ouchh! So for now I will continue doing it my way.

I found a mom & pop store that has been in business for years, I get two cases of standard 20# paper which yield about 30,000 slips (cut & printed with a color not just black) for a little over $300. This usually lasts me close to 1 year. Kinkos for the same deal wanted almost 3x that much.

Paper - that got me thinking ‘bout the difference in kinko’s pricing. Compared to johnreynolds quote, he’s probably using the standard paper#20 like Lon’s, whereas I got my estimate for paper#60 weight. Hmmm. At any rate it’s still cheaper for me to buy a $250 copy toner, yields over 10,000 sheets x 6 cuts per = 60,000 request slips. Time? No probs! I’m retired, no day job.
