I'm a studly young man. I've been KJing for about a year now. My favorite songs to sing are:

Break on Through - Doors
Light my Fire - Doors
Don't you Forget about me - Simple Minds
Shout - Tears for Fears
Hungry Like a Wolf - Duran Duran
Sweet Child O' Mine - Guns and Roses
Wooly Bully - Sam Sham and Pharoahs
Blue - A Perfect Circle
Stayin Alive - Bee Gees
Play that Funky Music - Wild Cherry
Listen to the Music - Doobie Brothers
Black Water - Doobie Brothers
White Wedding - Billy Idol

There are many others also, but these are some of the songs I sing most often.

The first time I sang Karaoke was at my buddies wedding reception. The wedding went great and we had great food at the reception, but in short the party was a little lame. The DJ was playing classical music or something and was putting people to bed.

I just sat there thinking I've got to find a way to get this party moving a little or we'd all be in bed my 9:00. We had 2 16 gallon kegs to drink also. In short I found out the DJ had a karaoke settup. I picked out White Wedding and it got everybody up dancing.

It was really pretty funny. Everybody was all uptight for some reason and as soon as the music started people realized it's okay to relax and have a great time. By the end of the night the best man had his shirt off running around. It's all on film somewhere.

Anyways that's what kind of got me in the business of running my own KJ show. It had to do with timing also. I happened to have a PA system and someone was trying to get out of the business. I got a good deal on the songs.

I've always had a music background. About eight years ago I started playing drums. About five I started playing Guitar and singing. I've also played the Bass for a while. I love music and it's always and will always be a part of who I am. Anyways there it is. That's my brief bio. Thanks for the warm welcome.
