I have been buying online downloads since March of 2012.

Total # of Tracks Purchased online To Date - 475
Tracks Purchased online in 2012 (Mar - Dec) - 170
Tracks Purchased online in 2013 - 208
Tracks Purchased online in 2014 (Thru Mar 6, 2014) - 97

May of 2013 is when I started to really push this service broadly to the singers. Greater that 75% of the 2013 downloads took place in the May-Dec timeframe.

Looks like 2014 is going to be a big year for downloads!

With very few exceptions, these are songs that have been asked for at a show and I have downloaded on the fly for the singer that night. Also, with few exceptions, the songs have all been performed more than once each.

I have used these stats to get raises at two venues, by the way. I explain the service I offer, how it has impacted their attendance to be able to deliver tracks on demand, and the costs I incur to provide the service. One venue in particular is responsible for almost 50% of the requests and they were happy to meet my request for a rate increase based on the data I provided to them.

Now....if I could only automate the entire process!

I've had so much trouble down loading new stuff to my liberty at my shows I had to stop till
I can find a way to make it faster or at lest more reliable. I only have a 5 meg/1 meg connection. At home I have a 30 meg/5 meg. I use Karaoki now but I what to use something better next season.

Excellent use of technology to respond to customers Chris. Here's a clue why Chris's business continue to grow guys, take note.

The good news: Stellar offers superior MP4 HD downloads- someone is actually thinking about download quality!

The bad news: Terrific files are made from Stellar's generic tracks- darn it...

Is this JUST download stats? Or new music (not counting bulk buys but actual requests) because even though I don't download as a rule, I buy custom discs from singer requests. In 2013 I got 2,387 new songs - including requests & monthly releases only. This year so far I'm at 115 new songs - mostly individual requests with a couple of new monthly releases (approx. 40 songs).
Of lately I have been doing downloads on the spot (then getting them on custom disc if available - not included in this count). Probably 50 downloads since Jan.

These are just download stats. This does not include any disc purchases at all. In fact, I have only purchased 14 discs since Jan 1st of 2014 (single bulk buy). I have drastically reduced my disc purchasing except for exceptional deals or when I add a new rig.

Well I wasn't counting actual pressed discs (I don't think I bought any of those), those were still customs (customer requests) and downloads, even the 'monthly' I buy on custom from All Star - cheaper than buying the pressed . Everything I bought on a custom could have been just as easily a download stat - just not on the spot.
