I didn't need to buy CH, used the demo

It was a bad case of impulse buying on my part due to posters here who swore up & down with solemn declaration that it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. (alan b.).

...and have you noticed just how well CompuHost does the scroll? Yes, I know that there are a few programs that can do a scroll but none of them can do it as well as CompuHost. CompuHost does it with such power, such style, such grace. It does it beautifully and most of all, it does it with love.

Karma: I don’t use the continual singer crawl feature. Been using microsoft word laptop notification method for years, type singers’ names displayed on two 25” tv’s, five names at a time, then just scroll down (a/b switch so they can't see what I’m typing). They immediately know who’s next & also gives them an approximate time for bathroom or smoke breaks before they’re up.

I probably get a lot of flack for this but my singers & I find it kinda distracting to look at the song graphics with the scrolling marquee rotation going below. But that’s just me…………matter of personal preference!

Scenario: Alan submitted his request slip 1½ hrs ago, I could’ve inserted his name within the rotation, but he’s such a b**thole he earned the spot at the very end! (kidding, alan)! LOL

I have grown used to the scroll. I used to go to a friends gig and sing the scroll during the bridges (similar to singing "Instrumental Break"). But now I can ignore it pretty well.

Karma lets you adjust the size of the font, the speed of the scroll, and the fore/background colors. I have settled on Black background, with Red or Yellow text. Usually set to the fastest scroll speed and largest font as well. Depends on the size of the singer display.

I didn't know Karma gave you a choice.

The CompuHost scroll can be set to automatically turn off when someone is singing as to not be distracted. So, you can have it always on, off, or off when someone is singing where it resumes at the end of the song. In addition, you can choose any style font and any color. And choose the speed. And display messages in addition to performers up next, like "Happy Birthday", drink or food specials, etc.

And it alerts you to how much time is remaining on the song as someone else mentioned.

Karma does all but the items in red.
