For me anyway, the grab bag thing is useless. They're usually very old discs that you already have anyway. I need to know what I'm buying. Unless you are just starting out and have no music at all, grab bags are a waste of money. But a good way for retailers to get rid of the "junk" from their inventories.

I agree, but the price could make someone change their mind. You might get 50 songs for every $5 you spend. I know a lot of KJs like to stuff their books with every song they can find, either to boast or just in case someone might sing one of them.
If I could spare $20, I'd spin the Karaoke-Wheel-Of-Fate and see if I could get 50 songs I don't have (just in case).
