Just for curiosity sake what songs are you tired of hearing? There will be some songs listed because of course they are easy for beginners, however, as for myself, I could go for a long time without hearing Picture, Margaritaville, or love shack. Even though I like these songs, I'm just tired of hearing them. What's your opinion?

Blown Away
My Life Would Suck w/o You
Love Shack
Play That Funky Music
and then, the serious duet songs like:
Need You Now / Somewhere Out There / A Whole New World / Endless Love, etc.
(would be nice & easy on the ear if one or the other can pick the right notes to harmonize with, more or less parallel to the melody.

Neal McCoy's "The Shake." If only because that's the one song I'm guaranteed to hear every week, as there's a guy who comes and sings *only* that song.

"Don't Stop Believin'" - Even though everyone knows it and it generally gets the crowd into it.

For the first time in 3 years 2 months of hosting, someone sang "The Rose" - Bette Midler at one of my shows. Even though I have only heard it once in that time, I don't ever want to hear it again. I don't think there is any other karaoke song that can put the brakes on an upbeat karaoke show than that song. Might have to remove it from my library.

That's one of the reasons I like going to different types of karaoke nights. The one bar--the one I tend to refer to as the "old man bar"--has a crowd that would go nuts for a good version of that, which lets me sing songs I wouldn't think of singing at the more college-age oriented bar.

One lady’s ‘one & only’ song, my show is not complete if I don’t hear Wind Beneath My Wings, another strong contender for the most boring 5min song of the century. I think unless the singer can keep up with the song key leading to the end part - - - it’ll be like dragging minutes into hours, I’d rather pour cement. LOL

More than welcome! Usually get lots of rock, pop & newer country! The older stuff (typical karaoke stuff) isn't done very often.

Anything by Meat Loaf (too long)
Summer nights
Sweet child of mine
Honey I'm home (or any other Shanaia Twain for that matter)
Anything by West Life
Most of the original versions of songs The Baseballs have covered (that's why I sings lots of Baseballs songs!)
The best
Don't go breaking my heart
Don't let the sun go down on me
This train don't stop there anymore
(There are some Elton John songs I do like, but these ones kill the vibe without fail)
In fact there are very few ballads that don't ruin the atmosphere, although there is one bloke who can nail the Commodores' "Easy".

While there is country sung at my show, there is quite a bit of Rock. I have one guy there who sings more modern rock, and then there is me, who sings classic rock, hard rock and metal.

I find these songs are always being sung and get very boring
The Gambler
American Pie
Summer of 69
Summer nights
Sweet Caroline

All of these songs seem to be sung WAY to much

Those are all rarities at my shows. Summer Nights being the exception.

The entire collected 'work' of Bob Seger and George Thoroughgood.

Most of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Well, almost anything in the category of "The Blues".

Smashmouth, Sugar Ray, and Counting Crows.

In truth, my list in this category could go on for quite some time; I have a very short musical attention span.
