I regret to inform all of you that I probably just submitted my last song here on SS. I will miss you guys, but I will still be around to listen to your posts (and I will try to leave comments). I have had a terrific time listening to all of you (wow, there is a lot of talent here) and sharing some of my repertoir with you. I just wanted to offer you guys an glimpse of the Classical genre as a way to hopefully brodaden your horizons.

It usually takes a great deal of time and energy to produce just one song for the enjoyment of just a very few listeners (one of my last posts only had 6 total views (5 comments). Since I am trying to juggle 3 jobs and still want to have a life, I will probably be going into a posting hiatus for an indefinite period. However, I will be glad to post any requests that you make (it may take a while, but I can usually dig up an accompaniment track). Please note that my mind is not completely made up as of yet regarding on going on an indefinite sabbatical especially since I have found made some very good friends here.

It's also very sad that this post is getting like no replies geez.....DM, I can relate to your sitch. You gotta do what is best for you. Your time is valuable.

it is becoming more and more common tigger... with the pressure and guilt from certain groups to listen to all the subs (at least theirs anyways) and comment... and reply.. and click.. and clack... and 3 woozy's and a twirl... it has become more stressful for more and more to deal with it and it is easier to withdraw from participation than it is to constantly be bombarded by complaints of "you didn't listen to mine I am not going ot listen to yours" or the whole rating joke, comment VS Fluff etc... even how many views VS how many comments became an issue... it feels like if ya can't listen to everyone and comment and reply on everyone then it isn't worth it because your subs get ignored... I have even sent a suggestion to Phill basically that creates a "NO COMMENTS" option when you sub just as there is a "Member prefers not to be ranked" option... this would allow members to post who don't have time to listen to subs by everyone who listens to their sub, comment on all their subs, and reply to comments made on their songs... it is time consuming and very draining... it also gives a sense of anonymity for those who just want to listen and not feel like they HAVE to comment... oh well... expect many more departing this way and many more who don't say anything at all but just leave... unfortunately for most of you I am not one of those leaving ... ya all will have to put the ticker tape parade on hold... keep on singing- michael

If you spent some of that negative energy fighting terrorists rather than purposefully digging at and annoying good folks trying to enjoy themselves, the world might be a safer place...Ever consider enlisting in the armed forces?

I have been listening to you since the first day I joined these sites. I have always enjoyed the different music that you bring to all of us, and that I don't get to enjoy anymore. I WILLLLLLLL miss your submissions, and think that there will be a hole that not many others could fill. Obviously, me as well:)

You sound like an INCREDIBLY busy person, and golly, i have NO idea who you do it all... and i think I am busy, just being a stay at home mom:)

Will miss your subs, and encourage you to stay in touch:) We never got to "know" each other:)
