How about the JVC CDGs? I never see them up for auction on e-bay or in CraigsList... and there were quite a few in that series.
Now THOSE are rare discs! And if I recall, sounded very good, it's been so long since i've heard one can't remember.

I have 10 of the JVC discs. I don't recall ever playing anything from them though. I guess I should listen to a few to see how they look/sound.

I have a whole 54 disc set of JVC video CD's. They have good music, not the best, but passable (Ubest made them) and they have CHEESY videos. I used them all the time when I used a player. Now that CompuHost will play the mpeg files, I am going to rip and rename them for use in my weekly shows.

I'm still looking for a "Rare Cuts" (RC) disk. That's the only mfr that seems to have made "If I Ever Fall In Love" by Shai.

Amazon has an instrumental of the song, but in wouldn't work for karaoke because there are no vocals in it whatsoever. Therefore, only a very well rehearsed trio could accomplish it.
