How on earth is he trolling?? By questioning the hypocrisy of SC??

and it's too funny how the very ones that claim to be sick of people asking questions CONTINUE to ask their own "curious" questions soon after.

I'll tell you why. Because it is ALL HE DOES. Read his post history. This is a person who claims to be a KJ and interested in the craft, with no grudge or even an SC disc...yet EVERY POST has been in regard to his seething hatred of SC. It isn't simple questioning or fact gathering. It isn't even truthful. It's classic internet trolling, plain and simple.

You know what's really sad john? That the majority of people on this board don't have the balls to speak directly to someone or ask a direct question, as evidenced above. Everything must be cloaked in insinuation or "wondering". It's a fricking middle school around here, and this from supposedly grown men & women!



I give you a better definition. Post hundreds of times about SC, insinuate and speculate about things you know nothing about, speak of how much you loathe their tactics, then state "I'm not consumed with hate of SC nor do I wish them to fail". It goes from comical to simply bizarre.

What's so bizarre about it Bazza? Many people don't agree with our government or their policies and I don't think they want to see the violent overthrow of our democracy. After all Winston Churchill said "democracy is the worst form of government except for all the rest". Have a blessed day.

P.S. I have never said that hosts should steal from SC, what I have said if they don't want to follow SC's rules for the use of their product don't use the product, and avoid a problem with SC. I think I have been very plain on those points.

Is that the goal that all the hosts should be worshiping at the shrine of SC, that there is no room on KS for a person that doesn't think SC is the best thing for the industry since sliced bread. That we should all be clapping every time James makes a statement. Is there that much willingness to give everything over not a government agency but a company? A company who itself is under a cloud. I hope we can still use reason and that is has not fled to brutish beasts. Have a blessed day.

To Clarify MY position...

I believe in free speech.

If any manu has done /is doing unethical things then I want to know about the hypocrisy.

Sound Choice are the BEST cdgs i own in terms of quality hands down.

I do not despise SC whatsoever, but also not a FAN of their past tactics. I hope they get their $h-t straight and produce quality products again and i will buy.

My jab at JD whom i respect A LOT was just that- an kneejerk reaction to what surprised the heck out of me, because he's usually unbiased and fair 99% of the time. I sent him a pm and apologized after posting shortly thereafter.

WHY are so many people seemingly threatened by Lone Rangers inquiries? Tired? Just ignore them if you don't agree, but HE and JOE C... M-A-Y....be onto some truth behind what we can't/ don't see....even if it turns out it was just speculation.

CB's overnight shutdown just sucked imo, seemingly screwing over many kjs who got certified and or bought their product.

IF SC is going to continue to exist or go bankrupt completely, then I WANNA KNOW of ANY SIGNS one way or another. As stated, i hope they continue to produce in the future.

Lastly, I YIELD to the many people who are much more intelligent in the matters than i, but i WON'T EVER back down in my stance that EVERYONE deserves to be heard, ad nauseum, in their opinions, inquiries, and sharing of any information that may shed ANY light on what's going on in this upside down industry of ours.

This is exactly how TV psychics work. You thrown out dozens of predictions daily. Invent all kinds of crazy ideas. Then, if one sticks, shout it from the rooftops. You are a proven genius. Hey, TV psychics have a right to free speech too. But that isn't going to stop people from calling them on their BS.

As someone who is a singer, not a KJ, but who remains dedicated to reading these boards... it's fairly easy to come to the conclusion that a poster like Lone Ranger does have some sort of ax to grind, and that ax is the sole reason he remains here.

I wouldn't rush to make judgments about most folks who do contribute to the anti-Sound Choice sentiments expressed here, because most of them discuss other topics. Heck, one of my personal "favorites," as it were, would be one of the last people anyone would accuse of Sound Choice boosterism, but he provides countless positive contributions unrelated to that.

I mean, call me crazy, but I don't think the purpose of the forum is to spend time "worshiping at the shrine of SC" any more than it is designed to be celebrating the company's troubles.

I'm thinking that if one were to follow these forums, one would see that Lone and I are NOT quite in the minority. PLENTY of others seem to have difficulty with SC's actions- in many cases toward their own customers.

Some not as vocal, some more so....

I would also add that though I may be more vocal than some, my posts are, in general, not very agressive.

First, I have known Lone Ranger to post on subjects other than the SC debates. Second know of at at least one Pro-SC poster who is almost exactly as you describe Lone- minus the "seething hatred" - with whom you have no difficulty whatsoever. Nor do I, which is why I leave his name out of it. Not here to pick on him, or anyone else- on EITHER "side".



As for HATE: SC is a corporate entity, not a person, no one to hate. I dislike what Kurt and Jim are doing, but have no idea what they are like outside of this situation. I have also had nothing but civil communication with both outside of these forums. No "seething hatred".

Do I want them to fail at their current business model? UBETCHA!

However, though I personally no longer wish to buy their product or support them in any way, I believe the karaoke industry- which I love- would benefit from as many producers of new songs as can be found- including SC.

It is best to remember that we are all involved in an adversarial situation- these debates- and therefore have a tendency to develop rather one-dimensional impressions of those here. In my experience, most of the "other-siders" with whom I have communicated outside of the forums- though wanting the communications kept private except for a very few- seem to be damn nice people.

Bazza, I can't speak for others, but I can tell you that your personal assessment of me is about as far off the mark as is possible.

While I can certainly admit that my style or the circumstances here could be at least partly to blame, your inability to allow for this possibility is at least as culpable.
