I don't think that doowhatchulike is saying that Defendant A has privileged information, I think he's saying that the Prosecuting Attorney (you - HarringtonLaw) might be using privileged information obtained through your SC investigations (and on behalf of SC (your client)) to sue Defendant A a second time... this time on behalf of your other client (PR). If it's privileged information between Attorney and Client A, then doesn't it stand to hold true that that privileged information with SC should not (and could not) be used in representing PR (Client B)?

The information gained in investigations is not privileged unless some privilege other than work product immunity. The reports themselves are privileged because they contain instructions to the investigators regarding the process to be used. Sharing a report with both SC and PR would not destroy that privilege because those communications would be confidential and because the privilege arises from its status as my work, not the fact that they are confidential communications. However, this has not come up, and I doubt it ever will. When we do a joint action, we begin it as a joint action.

I think the pulling of licensing is partly what was scaring people away from the streaming cloud service, being they may have the song one day and not the next - with a disc or download, even if a song was pulled, you'd still have it. I got a few from SAT as well and would also like to know if you are going to have these available through there. I prefer custom discs over downloads if at all possible. I take what I get here and see how it gels with the conditions of my own karaoke market. So far there are no boots on the ground in my area and things are going along like they always have. So someone sees a song they want to sing, writes it down for themselves to go learn at home, then comes back the next day or week to sing it and it isn't there anymore. Download ability wouldn't do any good in this case. Which is why I want physical media over streaming or download.
