this site isn't what I was hoping for. the cliquisms are more rampant now than ever before.

it just galls me that my latest subs have recieved only a small comparison of VIEWS, let alone comments than others that while they have their friends, I'm sorry, some are destroying certain songs.

I have enjoyed my time here, but it's time for me to move on. This isn't a pity party, but it was ONE helluva wake up call.

Take care guys... some of you truly have talent. I encourage each of you to continue to do what makes you happy. But I would caution everyone to get an UNBIASED opinion of your singing, and not just listen to your friends. Some people really think that they're very, very good, and that's just not the situation with some of us.

And I am including myself in that post. A little dose of reality is a shock, but it's all too necessary.

Why ask for your money back? You knew what you were letting yourself in for. Asking for your money back is cheap. Why not just leave without an explanation? Or say, Bye people, love you but leaving now. It was fun but it's over!

I don't understand all of the talks about "clique".... But, I have heard a couple of your submissions, including the duet, and really enjoyed it, and them. I noticed after checking, that you put two new songs up today, sadly, I haven't heard them, as I never listen on weekends... i rarely go online on weekends, as I prefer to spend every moment with my hubby:) (too bad for him:) Right now he is in the bathroom, so, i am writing this:)

I really hope you don't leave.. but heck, you don't know, me, and I only know your voice, and what I read in the forum:) Ok, I am babbling... but, I hope ya stick around:) Lol, dumbdrums has a clique of three? I have three too:) Me, myself, and I:), but you ARE welcome to join:)

Why can't we call ourselves one big clique of karaoke singers? Why can't we all be courteous to each other while sharing our differing points of view? If we could all get along in this respect, we'd never have problems with anyone leaving or feeling alienated.

I believe in courtesy and it speaks volumes.

Mikey, you are always welcome at our slumber parties...be prepared to get your hair put in rollers and your fingernails done.

I caught this one a little late but i guess what im thinkin can serve for future reference..

When we all showed up here..no one really paid us much attention..cuz people are busy..this is a hobby..

As WE took our own extra time and went in to listen to the "regulars", we started to all form bonds as collectively enjoying to share music...we made some jokes..we shed some tears..we even told a secret or two..

But it took US making the interation begin.

If you dont view many subs you really can not expect to get a lot of views on your own. As in most any walk of life ..its give and take....we have some that listen to virtually every sub..which is cool.

I listen to those who listened to me..then i will venture into the unknown and listen to people ive never seen before and that have never listened to my subs.

That CLIQUE word is irritating..where in life have any of us been that people didnt section off into like interests groups? It is human nature. Sittin behind a pc doesnt exempt us from being human.

I hate to see any one leave..especially upset. I wish Matt would come back and he's hardly ever listened to any of my subs But its easy to see he has good friends here who will miss this interaction with him .

IN a NUTSHELL? listen to others and comment ....dont expect that just cuz ur the most amazing singer in the world you dont have to give to take..and if you cant beat em join em and find a clique that best fits your needs and personality.

THEN...HAVE FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

I see no reason why some think it's ok for them to act ugly (ie. the deleted thread) then expect to feel loved in return.. When you plant beans, you grow beans. When you plant weeds you grow weeds...When you are nice, you make friends, when you act like an idiot it is just possible some folks may take you for one....

I would hate to think that a stranger toppled into here and read some of the stuff that actually gets said here...and I am no prude by any stretch of the imagination....but I am embarassed for us as a group that anyone would be posting some of the garbage I have read and seen lately and I for one am glad Phil had the good taste to delete some of it...

As for some of us being deluded in our thinking we have whatever measure of talent, I have this to say....-......for pete's sake get a grip!!! MOST of us know it's karaoke....and hello, if we were STARS we wouldn't be here... and everyone should know that....

As for cliques, that is the biggest joke I have ever heard. But I will say this...IF there is ONE then there are TWO...one is made up of folks who come here to share, sing, listen, enjoy, and make friends...The second would be made up of mean people who like to stir trouble...And in my humble opinion, those in group two should take a hike and go play in the street somewhere....
