Probably not. If it doesn't say CD+G specifically they normally won't play the video portion of the discs. The Apex, Pioneer, and many other brands that I have experience with don't decode the +G part.

I have both a Ritech 3700 and 3900 (both are progressive scan DVD players). They will both play CD+G's and cost under $100. Skip it and buy the Memorex $40 CD+G boom box or a real player instead because they don't pan the graphics smoothly. Fast songs don't update the pages as fast as the words change. Even slower songs don't pan smoothly.

MG

I stopped by the computer show at Pomona two weeks ago, and found a very nice DVD player that plays CD+G also.

It is a SDAT MS910 model, and lists on the net for $99 and at the show it was $42 plus tax.

Feature are:
DVD / CD/ MP3 / CD-RW / CD-G
96 khz/24 bit sterio
500 line video
Progressive scan
Wireless remote, programable with the remote.
S-Video and component out
10 bit DAC
NTSC/PAL
Two mic input
Echo and volume of course.

It plays very well.
