I just want to be able to select one song if I want, select the format I want, buy it, and then download it.... just that simple... where's the link to do that? Seems that wne I select a song to hear a sample it re-directs me to pay $10/month. I need a link to get to select songs, buy, and lownload. HELP Agree. Their site is crap and not user friendly at all. They could learn a thing or two from selectatrack and karaoke-version. Just let people find the song they're looking for and buy it without needing to "sign up" for anything. They also need to make their catalog public and let it be searchable on iCroons. I know people must be asking them for this stuff and they don't seem to care. I don't get it. They need to look at other download sites and realize the basic simplicity. On other sites there's no "sign up" required because the moment you make your first purchase, your account is created automatically. How are you supposed to browse their catalog and see if you want anything without first feeling like you're getting into some type of agreement with them? The whole thing just gives a bad vibe to the end user. I never felt that way. If I had to give credit card info to sign up, then yes, otherwise it's just creating a user name & password. I haven't bought from them yet simply because I don't need most of the songs on their releases that you have to buy the whole album and by the time they get into the single download section most of those songs are covered by other manus - All Star, PHM, SBI.

Then sign up! Jees. It doesn't cost you a cent. You do not have to provide any credit info., you aren't locking yourself into any contract in any respect. What is the big deal, if you want to use them to download and look at their list, sign up. If that is too much for anyone - move along!

I’m still LMFAO at Paradigm’s line: “if this is too complicated.....” great step by step instructions too. Just classic! My compliments. Thanks, Paradigm.

I have had trouble with their site, too. Was going to try using a different browser to see if it worked better. But it wasn't straight forward at all to me. I had no idea where to find the individual songs. I had to have someone who was already signed up assure me that agreeing to sign up for the cloud was not signing up to the cloud service. Then they tried to walk me through but I couldn't get the songs to come up and the search wouldn't work. I started to get that deja vu of how it used to be to make a CB custom and get kicked off part way through.
I was given a code to get free songs and I still ended up deciding it was too complicated to try to even see what songs were available.
Again, it might have been my browser and I keep meaning to go back and try again. I've been having trouble with some sites since I switched to Chrome. But I even followed the links the other person gave me to get to the individual song list and the screen shot of where it took me did not look like what she gets. It was a small bar with one song shown at a time and when you pressed scroll it might skip to two songs down or one and a half songs down. I wasn't going to do that for thousands of songs.

Then just use that e-mail address for any time you want to use Karaoke cloud.

The one sure-fire way that you know you haven't signed up for their Cloud Service, is whether or not they asked you for a CC Number when you signed up. Of course, you do HAVE TO give them a CC number if you're going to order a downloaded track, but I'm sure you'll know what you're paying for, and how much.

I've had quite a few similar problems with the site. Haven't tried a different browser yet.
But Gretchen if you happen to be catching this thread, my suggestion would be to FIRE your IT person and HIRE SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE DOING!!
just my two cents

The big deal is that people prefer a site where they can browse songs before be required to sign up, just like SelectaTrack, Karaoke-Version, and KaraokeDownloads. The point is that KaraokeCloud is so arrogant that they believe they have something so much better that people will jump through hoops that they don't have to elsewhere. That, along with their crappy site architecture all goes against some basic business principles that don't apply in the karaoke market. It's like they hired someone from Sam's Club to put together their business model.

I saw my first Karaoke Cloud track last night while at karaoke. It simply looked like a Chartbuster track to me. The only difference was the title screen. After the Karaoke Cloud screen swipes; it has Chartbuster written all over it. Same colors and same fonts. I guess they don't have to worry about getting sued for using Chartbuster's "TRADE DRESS". I would think that since CAVS was never paid on their victorious law suit against Chartbuster, that they(CAVS) would own their "trade dress". NO?
KJ claims to have every karaoke song ever made too. Imagine that. I asked him where he bought it and he said: "BOUGHT"? I haven't "BOUGHT" a song in years. I guess this means that the Cloud songs have found their way to the sharing sites already. I wonder how quickly any new tracks from Sound Choice will find their way there as well? I might have to keep going to that guy's show to look for anything on the new SC Discs.

It stands to reason it would reek of Chartbuster - Digitrax acquired the library. They now own it. CB has no claim to it anymore. Which is why they look the same except for the logo screens.
