looks like another great tool to rip off manu's. piracy never ends does it....?

No doubt that pirates will use this. Heck, Karaoke Cloud is really in trouble now. Someone could try the Cloud once, and convert everything in one fell swoop.

Thing is, this technology was bound to happen. Karaoke manufacturers stuck to this technology because not only was it the accepted standard, it also allowed them to maintain control over their product. But, they had to know this day would come.

This is the beginning of a whole new era.

I think what should be done next is form a think-tank with developers and KJs to define a new standard. It is important that ONE standard is used and defined well so that developers can bring new innovations to market.
