My BF's mom let me know a few weeks ago, that Nashville Star (the show on CMT, I believe), was coming to Calgary, Alberta to hold auditions.
Calgary, for me, is about three hours away....not too far, but when you don't have a car to get there....it can be a pain. Plus, not a great highway for winter driving....and in Alberta...you never know what kind of weather you are going to get..
Anywho.....So, I was like....I am not going to go....it is too far for that much stress...so, oh well.
Then, I was looking at the website last night, and they have moved the Auditions to EDMONTON! WOOHOO!
I am not a country fan (but I would learn to love it if it meant singing for the rest of my life!), but I do love trying out for these things cause you never know where it is going to take you.....and experience you gain is awseome!
I am so excited! It is November 13.....and I am just waiting for the details from the website!
What an exciting day

There is nothnig to be scared of ! So, you have to sing in front of some strange person....and they judge you....ah, it is all good!
It is more stressful for me to sing in front of my BF! I would take the stranger anytime !
I AM SO EXCITED!

Ok..... Rits.... FIRST it was the karaoke band thingie at Ceili's and NOW THIS!! Do you belong to a secret society where u get all the good info first or seomethin'?? and yes.... His name is George Canyon...... he's so great! *sigh*.............*dreaming....*

OH! uh..... anyways..... I'll be watchin' fer ya!! Hell..... maybe I'll go. Not to audition, but to watch everyone else that does!!! How fun!!!

I never know what is happening either ! I just have a lot of friends that know that I like to sing and enter any contest I can get my hands on....so they all keep watch...just in case I don't catch something (which seems to be all the time )!
I hope that this is a sign of good things...but I don't get my hopes up too high.......just in case

SO, RITISROO, I HEARD NASHVILLE STAR WAS HERE TODAY..... Is this the only day they're here?? and more importantly, DID U AUDITION?!?!? and if so..... HOW DID IT GO??
