Wannabe....I never thought of it that way. I suppose they did have to sign something to not have the songs leaked out, and even if it was a PR Stunt for Jacob, the "stolen" part would make it seem less suspicious.

and BHB, thanks for your input. I do appreciate it! As for the frustrating part, I don't much care about who won and all that Jazz....I get more frustrated about people who think they know what they are talking about, but really don't....as when they all say "this is so illegal" without having the proper means of backing their statement up...just arrogant people.

To be honest with you, I think it is cool that the station took the chance and played the song. They are getting so much PR now, people across Canada are listening to the station on the net, just to hear what was going on. Now, too that they have listened, they actually just like the station, and are tuning in just for the heck of it!

Which is exactly why this is very likely a PR stunt orchestrated between CI and the radio station. Obviously it's a win/win - People are talking about the CI finalists, talking about the song, and tuning in to the station. Tons of publicity for everyone, all for free.

Any reply regarding Century Decca records givibg masters to any half-witted promotional company doen't know the whole story, no master was given. He used a copy like any CD can immediately become a master, as far as PR we do not need PR from Adam Knight good or bad do your research.

Now, I have no idea what's happened in here in the past. I just read the thread with the comments by Allstar about "being one of us" and checking the ego at the door. And you agreed to do that.

So the first post I see from you outside of the thread is the above. A mildy passive aggressive way of you showing that you're some sort of insider, that you know stuff that we don't, but you couldn't possibly talk about it, and that everyone else who talks about it are just speculating based on heresay.

If that's your way of showing yourself to being "one of the crowd" , I gotta tell you that you're off to a crappy start. What is the point of making a post like that other than to impress us with your supposed insider knowledge?

If you can't say anything then don't say anything. Posts like the one that you just made are obviously just to stroke your own ego, which you've supposedly checked at the door. You may want to chain it to the door because it looks like it escaped and followed you in here.

But on the plus side, I now have a much better understanding of Allstar's comments

I found this site by accident, but we do watch what people say about us.
Furthermore Brian is not an employee at CDR and does not have any knowledge of our operations or policies, anything that comes from any source other than CDR itself, is idle speculation. And you can find this sort of gossip that I have found here, in the National Enquirer.

Brian does know me and my VP, we will not comment on any legal case against anyone in public concerning our business, and for the doubtful do your research and watch for press releases.

I have read these posts with great amusement as there seems to be so many "experts" here that "know" all about Century Decca Records and OUR operations. I would like to add my support to our Presdient in that NONE of you know ANYTHING about CDR or it's operations, ongoing or in the past. I personally would appreciate anyone wishing information of a credible source, to contact us directly. This doesn't mean we will tell you what we're doing, but, at least you will know you are dealing directly with CDR and it's management. Thanks so much and rememebr, Nashville IS listening, but whether we care or not, it entirely another matter.

So is BMG a part of Decca or are we talking about to different entities and situations. This is why I hate people who hijack threads. All of a sudden we go from CI to BHB and his so called problems. Now people will have to figure out what is what.
